As Ishimaru and the rest of them soared above the skies of the Earth Kingdom, he noticed that there was a large force of Earth Kingdom soldiers. He closed his eyes and shook his head.
"Sad isn't it? All those men and kids risking there lives for a senseless war. Don't you see Avani that this is why the world needs you."

Avani stared down at the soldiers, she felt horrible.

Garun patted Avani on her shoulder. "Im sure you wont fail. Your skill at water bending are quite good so if you master the other elements with that much skill then theres no chance you can lose" Garun told her.

Down below one of the commanders noticed the flying group, but from his distance he couldn't tell it was a flying bison. And so, he ordered his troops to fire on them.
Ishimaru looked, noticing giant stones being sent at them. He jerked the reigns, moving out of the way just in time.
"Uh guys, better hang on. This might get a little turbulent."
Dodging the stones, Ishimaru headed towards the woods, hoping that by doing so they could escape the onslaught without being followed. Sadly, that didn't happned. One shot made it through, and the flying bison and all of its partners tumbled down into the forest. Ishimaru used his airbending to attempt to soften the blow, but the landing still wasn't pleasant.
"Are you alright back there?"

Ishimaru got off and took a look at his flying bison for any damage.
"It doesn't look to good. There are a lot of bruises and cuts, and I'm afraid some bones might be broken. Definantly can't fly."
The bison moaned a bit in pain as he continued inspecting.
"I heard waterbenders are good at healing. You might be able to patch her up a bit, but I think we're going to need to walk from this point."

"I`ve seen it done before, but I dont know if I can do it too."she said looking for some sort of water source. Clouds. Avani moved her hands a bit and a small amoutn of water collected in a neat ball infront of her. It formed around her hands and they glowed blue.
"I dont know how well this will work..."

"Well, at least try to see if you can heal her enough that she can at least walk. Otherwise we're going to be kind of stuck out here.Anyways, I'm going to go up and take a look around."
Jumping up on the branches, Ishimaru made his way to the top branches of one of the trees and poked his head out. He could see that they were a good ways from the army, but that was all he knew. The crash had thrown off his direction, so right now he had no idea where to head off to.
This is not good. We're lost with an injured flying bison. We have to get moving and try to get back to the temple. Now if only we knew where to go.

Avani nodded and continued to try to heal the bison. Her snow leopard kept close.

Jumping back down from the top of the tree, Ishimaru made his report to Avani
"Well, bad news is that we're lost in this forest. I can't see the army, its a sea of treetops up there. Any luck on healing her?"

Suppo (final name change since I can remember it easily) stood up and shook her legs. They were still damaged, but now where at least able to walk. Ishimaru walked over to her and ran his fingers through her fur.
"Its alright there, your fine. Avani, you did a good job. I still don't think we can fly right now, but she can at least walk. Now if only we can figure out which direction to go."
