Zhang grabbed his hand and pulled himself up. Avani slid down to Suppo`s head and took the reigns in her hands.
"Uhh ... Yip Yip?"

Garun looked around once Zhang was up. "Once we get buy Do you think I should do something to keep him from attacking Ishimaru so he can get a good jump or do you think he will need it" Garun asked as he waited for Suppo to rise.

Once Avani said the words "Yip Yip" the flying bison began to take off into the sky with a sudden jerk. She knew that Ishimaru wasn't onboard, but she wouldn't have to wait to long for his return. Almost as soon she was in the air a small dot appeared on the horizon behind them. As it got closer one could tell it was Ishimaru, though he had a look of worry on his face that showed things weren't going well. He was also flying a lot higher than he normally would, and was in fact flying above the height Suppo was.
Meanwhile, down on the ground, Derano was casually running below and behind Ishimaru's glider, assessing his chances of what to do next.
"Well glider boy, I believe this shall be the end of your trip with the Avatar. Pity."
Derano stood for a moment, charging up the flow of chi into a concentration in his hand. Soon blue sparks began to appear, and within the minute they were flying all over the place near his hand. With one last motion he sent the bolt of lightning towards Ishimaru.
Sadly, the lightning hit the glider, but the heat and electrical energy still caused Ishimaru great pain (at least it wasn't fatal). He had been shot out of the sky, but Suppo quickly moved to catch him.
((Yes, I'm mean enough to shoot my own character's with lightning. Trust me, this was the kindest plan I had for him.))

Avani sighed in relief that they were away, but she glanced at Ishimaru. She carefully went over to him, a bit frantic. Zhang stared at him speechless.
"Ishimaru? ISHIMARU?"She squeaked, "Talk to me, please?"
Her first instinct was to help, obviously. She used the water in the air, then it gathered around her hands. Carefully she placed her hands on him, then she waited anxiously.

Garun watched as Ishimarus glider got it and sighed once he was caught by Suppo. Garun walked over to Suppo's head and stroked it. "Nice catch" He said before walking over to Ishimaru and Avani. "Do you need any help healing it or can you do it alone" He asked her

Avani didnt say anything, she thought he would recall earlier when they went over that male water benders probably couldnt heal wounds, or at least not very well. Ishimaru was hurt because she had to go skipping off into the woods. She hated being the avatar, she hated it.
"Sit down Garun... you`ll get blown off."Zhang told him, "Leave her alone, let her consintrait since there isnt much we can do until we get there..."

Ishimaru had been knocked partially unconcious from the blast, but the chatting between Avani and Garun (as well as the healing) caused him to wake up some. Sadly, that meant he got to feel the pain caused by the lightning and the catch (Suppo may have be cute and cuddly, but it can hurt pretty bad to fall on top of her if one was high enough).
The worst part was around his legs since they were at the impact site of the blast and so had some pretty bad burn marks. The rest of his body was slightly burned, but Avani's healing was working on that. His bones would probably need a little work as well, but overall they were fine.
"Someone explain what just happened? I remember gliding away from that firebender, and then I'm here." He said between bouts of pain.
By this point they were over the ocean, and so Derano decided to just head off for now. He may have been an excellent firebender, but he sure couldn't go over water. But next time he would get the Avatar, and finish off that airbender as well.
((Nothing like a near-death experience to start a personality change for my guy,huh?))

"Im not quite sure what happened, but im just so glad your okay!"The young avatar couldnt help but hug him, she was happy to see that he was already talking. When she realized she might accidentally hurt him she carefully released him. "Sorry."

Garun nodded to Zhang before sitting down. "Its good to see your ok Ishimaru. "If you werent ok then we would have to walk" Garun said with a smile trying to lighten the mood. "Well what happened was you basicly got blasted out the sky by what I assume to be lightning" Garun said to Ishimaru. "I dont think it hit you directly due to the fact your alive but it still must sting like hell" Garun said to Ishimaru before putting his water next to Ishimaru. "Have some water. It might help with the pain" He said to Ishimaru

Ishimaru cringed a little bit when Avani hugged him, but he decided it wasn't worth it to tell her it did cause pain. Besides, an argument wasn't the best thing to break out into right now. He had to give them instructions on flying Suppo, though she would be smart enough to be able to fly to the temple on her own. But first he took some Garun's water before talking.
"Thanks for the help. I think I'm going to be fine, though the monks will probably want to seem me when we get to the temple. By the way, Suppo will probably be able to fly on her own to the temple so don't worry about that."

"You dont need to be sorry. Your job is to save the world not fight worthless people like him" Garun said to her. "All you need to focus on is learning the other elements. The rest of us will deal with fools like him" Garun added before patting her on the back comfortingly.

"But Im supposed to protect the world and everything in it. And so far Im failing..."she said scooting closer to him, Avani leaned her head on him, "I`ll have to train really hard so I can save everybody. I dont know if I can do it."
