Personality: William is a pretty reclusive person, but he isn’t shy. It stems more from an oblivious idea of what is happening around him when he is reading, which he does a lot. It may seem rude, but he doesn’t mean it. It takes some work to get him interested in talking to you, but you’ll be glad you did. William loves comedy, and can easily pull up jokes and stories he has heard or seen of. He is also smart (hence the reading), but his habit of constantly bringing up some point may make him seem like a know it all. However, this tends to get balanced out by his absentmindedness at times.
In general, William is an optimist. However, he usually approaches a problem with a realistic view, and a little Machiavellian style. Being thrown into a situation like this means he is probably going to be more open than he normally is, and a bit more energetic than usual.
History: William was born in a large town located in southeast part of the United States. He lived in that large town for many years. At school he was the adoration of his teachers, and usually the butt of the jokes of his peers. While it did bother him about it, he eventually learned to ignore it. To do this, he turned to reading, anime, and comedy. This helped him survive, but to this day he has issues trying to talk to people. By the time he reached middle school, all the kids had gotten over their teasing and started treating him better. He was even making friends, which that love of anime and comedy helped with.
However, when he was halfway through middle school, his family moved to a small town located in the heart of the southern United States. Luckily, he was accepted (or tolerated) by the kids there, and so he had a pleasant life. In high school, he continued being the student teachers dreamed of, and much to his surprise, people were treating him with a bit of respect. Friends were easier to make, though he only had one or two that he really got close to. Life was good, though, and he wasn’t going to complain.
