Digital`s Quick Guide to Drawing the Basic (Digital) Style Anime Face:  If you dont exactally get the picture, here are the quick steps written out. 1. Draw a circle. I find it helps to draw a circle a inch or two above the paper before actually drawing it. it helps to keep it more circular. 2. Draw two lines parallel lines, these will be the sides of the face. 3. Draw a sort of blunt, large open cone. This is the jaw. Make sure you sort of start the cone shape not exactally at the end of the parallel lines, unless your person has a long face. 4. Connect the two parallel lines by adding a dome half circle, make sure it looks correct before moving on. If it doesnt look right it could mess up the balance of the head. 5. Most characters have ears, so add em! You see how I have the two parallel lines going this way <-----> ? Well place the top of the ears about half way. The Ears, nose and eyes are lined up. So its good to add refrence line, however you can just very lightly pencil them in for now. 6. Erase the the circles inside of the face, then redraw and darken the refrence lines. This is where the stuff starts getting a bit harder because its the most noticable details. I always start off by drawing a nose (which is the rough shape of a blunt half diamond) on the top part of the 3 section of the face. (1st section is the forehead /// 2nd is the Eyes, ears, top of the nose.) Then I draw in a mouth, which can be just a smile cresent shaped line. or can be as difficult and as detailed as you like. The next thing I draw are the eye brows. Where you place them is extreamly important! Use the lines of the nose to line up the begining of the eyebrows. Depending on the characters expression depends on how high, or low you draw the rest. If you just want a normal neutral expression just draw them arched slightly above the line, and so on for an expression like I have. 7-12 Comming shortly |

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh when I saw that OLD next to Ishimaru on the Akatsuki Concept sketch. Anyway, mind telling me what the Japanese text says? I can't read it.

The GIANT Naruto Poster Project! Alrighty, as you probably know already I like to draw banners for the Naruto rp (since thats the only thing i can do). And right now im working on one with at least 10 different characters. This poster takes up a good 1/3 of one of my walls in my room. All of them will be hand drawn and colored with color pencil by me xD These are the characters that are probably going to be in it: Mai (80% Done) Douke (80% Done) Yuuto (75% Done) Henjin Daisuke Hojo Inoko Shikaniku Akane Toshiro I was thinking of including the akatsuki, and i will if i can fit them once im done. Any thoughts or suggestions? |

Lol yeah xD Its turning out surprisingly well though, I really really like it. I`ll take a picture of it as soon as i can.
Oh, is there any chance you can send me the little scans of your characters? I have the Douke/Shikaniku one saved, but it seems as if I miss placed them or didnt save them on my computer. I forgot what Akane`s hair looks like xD Im on the Akane/Toshiro part of the drawing.

Thanks ^^ I shall see what I can do, I had a different hairstyle in mind for her. Hopefully you`ll like it. Once I draw Akane`s hair I can ink over her and Toshiro and start coloring them =D

Oh, what kind of hairstyle did you have in mind. I'm rather flexible on it cause I wasn't so sure what I wanted myself XD.

Its a Hinata/Sakura hairstyle dealio. Its kind of more strait on the top of the head, but spikes out towards the front and bangs. Might sound terrible right now, but it actually looks pretty nice. I like your design for Douke's mask better than mine. And I'm not going to bother figuring out how he's blushing through the mask XD.

Lol Douke is just that amazing xP I followed your mask design as closely as I could, maybe its just because my lines are a little bit more clean?
