Jing was practicing his earthbending near an open plain, there were small juts of rock from his effort, but otherwise the plain was smooth, he was currently on one half of the plain, where there was all soil and granite and no grass, on the otherside was a field of long lush grass, he was quite near Ba Sing Se, on the other side of the great city, so the serpents pass was always blocked by the cities bulk whenever he got too close, "phew" he muttered, as he sat down and looking around, Earthbending was al;ways hard, but today seemed a bit more difficult, maybe it was due to his long jjourney that day, or he was just feeling subconciously lazy, one of the two, he stood up wearily and browsed the sky, the sky was coloured a light blue, and was dotted with clouds, "i wonder whats happening in there, in Ba Sing Se..." Jing muttered as he looked into the distance, the city visible, even from this distance, "i wonder what the world thinks of the Earth Kingdom, they probably think we are evil, like everyone thought the Fire Nation was in the last Great War, but i guess the Earth Kingdom think they still are, but the Air Nomads and the Water Tribes, i have no clue, our education system wasnt the best for one who wants to learn about the other nations" Jing muttered, before he sat down again, but changed his position to lying on his back and staring up at the clouds "what now..." he muttered.

In order to keep his presence low key, Zhang switched out his fire nation clothes for some more earthy ones. His eyes, which could easily give him away, where well hidden behind his shaggy black hair. He, looking for nothing in particular that day stumbbled across the young earth bender.

"What do you think of this war earth bender?"

"to be honest, i dont really like it" Jing muttered without looking towards the stranger, he then sat up, and turned around to face him, "why would you ask?" he asked the man, a trace of suspicion on his face, normally people wouldnt ask him what he thought of the war, they would just say that he liked it, which of course, Jing hated.

Zhang shrugged and scratched his chin.

"I dont know, just a question out of curiosity I supose."he stated,"Most people of the earth kingdom would usualy say its a good thing, this war. I`d have to agree with you, its rather pointless."

"alright" Jing replied, as he lied back down, "so why you here anyway?" he asked the man.

"Well ... I often ask myself that."Zhang told Jing,"I used to think my travels where for the adventure, but I usually find myself looking for something, but I dont know what exactally.."

"find something..." Jing muttered quietly, "well, if you are looking for it, you must have some idea on what it is like, even a minor detail" Jing asked him.

"Not nessisarily..."the fire bender continued,"You know that feeling when your looking for something, you used to know, or you thought you knew, but you cant recall what your acctually doing?"

"er... yeah" Jing said, having to think on that question, "erm, question, do you bend, or are you a warrior, or just a normal civilian" Jing asked the firebender, "and to add to that, where are you from?" he asked Zhang.

Zhang paused for a moment, this guy wasnt to quick was he? Obviously he wasnt from the earth kingdom. He thought his eyes would give it away, or maybe the sideburns.

"I dont know If I should be, telling you this, but you seem like a nice guy. Plus I`ve got nothin to hide."He said with a nod, he lifted his arm and opend his hand. A small flame sat in the palm of his hand. Zhang smirked,"Does that answer your question?"

"i see, well, lucky for you, i aint that good at fighting fire nation, besides, seeing as you havent shot fire at me yet, you seem friendly" Jing said, although he still kept his eyes on the fire nation man, he knew enough that the fire nation loved sneak attacks, or was that just another illusion created by his schooling system, whether the man was the same as what Jing had been told or not, he still would keep up his guard, he stepped up, "why would someone from the fire nation be in the Earth Kingdom, dont you tihnk you are being careless, being so close to the capital, Ba Sing Se?" he asked the man.

"Nah, i`m just sortta a drifter now. The earth kingdom is a nice place, so I thought that might be a good place to start my little traveling adventure."

[Max Insue]

"you picked the earth kingdom to start your travels, that si kinda careless" Jing told the man, he stood up, "it would have been better to travel through weither the Air Nomad territory, or the Water Tribe, seeing as everyone here hates Fire Nation, well not everyone" Jing told them.

"Yeah I know, but I kinda like a little action and adventure."

[Max Insue]

"well i advise you to leave that way" Jing told the man, getting up and walking towards the forestry, "you can either accompanie me, or travel alone" Jing offered the man.

((seeing as we dont have another earth bender, im planning for Jing to meet the avatar sooner or later to help with earth-bending, unless someone better comes along lol, so if Zhang comes with, he could help her with her firebending, sorry bout the wait btw))
