Will took a deep breath as he walked into the exhibition hall. It was kind of a creepy place to be when there wasn't a massive crowd watching the duels. And the loud echo from his shoes didn't help things out.
"Alright Will, just get into the middle platform and wait for Alex. I just hope he's ready for the pounding he'll be getting." He said with a bit of an evilish laugh.
((OOC:Well, this is it, the big test of the system. Cue suspense music XD))

Will only had to wait for about three minuets before Alex walked in smiling. Alex didn't say anything for a wile, he just got his duel disk ready. "so Will, are you ready to lose?" he asked sounding very confident.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it shall be you who will lose. However, at least promise to give me a good match." Will said as he pressed the button on his duel disk. The little machine clicked into place, and glowed slightly as it turned on. Soon he had his life points display working, and with that he had to ask a very important question.
"So then, do you want to go first, or should I?"

"Okay then, let's proceed with the duel shall we?"
Will pulled out his opening hand of five cards followed by his one card draw for the turn, ready to get his game on. Taking a look at his hand, he found himself with an excellent one.
Excellent, Toon World in my first draw. Toon Defense isn't too shabby, and neither is Toon Table of Contents. Toon Mermaid and Blues Toon Dragon aren't bad either. I don't really need Giant Trunade right now though.*
Will knew exactly what to do on his first turn with a hand like this.
"Alright then Alex, you are about to see what kind of deck I play with this very first card. I activate Toon Table of Contents."
Placing the card on the field, a holographic image of a giant book appeared on the field. It began flipping rabidly as he spoke.
"This magic card allows me to search my entire deck for any monster with the word Toon in its name, or called Manga Ryu Ran. And I know exactly which one I want."
As Will pulled out the card he wanted from his deck, the book closed itself as he discarded to the graveyard. Taking a look at his monster (Toon Cannon Soldier), he proceeded with his turn.
"And now you are about to see that monster. Go Toon Cannon Soldier."
The field exploded in color as the toonified version of Toon Cannon Soldier appeared on the field.
"Ah, isn't he adorable. Sadly, he can't attack right now so I'll end this off by playing one card face down."

"A toon deck hmm. Well this will be fun" And it might be hard. Alex thought.
Alex pulled out his first six cards. A card that caught his eye was his Yubel. he checked his other cards, Yubel - Terror Incarnate, Monster Reborn, Mirror Force, Hand of Nephthys, and Dark Illusion. trying to see if he could summon his Yubel. Well looks like I can't play that right now. He though. Alex decided to play in defiance for now.
"Ok I play Hand of Nephthys (600/600) in defiance mode, and I put one card face down (that is Mirror Force) and that ends my turn"

Ivan who had followed the guys to the exhibition hall had a look at the two of them dueling "M'kay, Will has a toon deck" He muttered to himself. Ivan took a chicken drumstick out of his bag and started to eat it. "And he also seems to be kinda eccentric when he duels" He continued to mutter from the stands

((Okay Dust, one quick thing. You don't have to tell me what you set face down, just tell me something was put face down.))
Hmm, this looks as if it'll be easier than I thought.
"All right then, I believe its my turn now."
Pulling out his next card, Will took a good look at it. It was Heavy Storm, and with that and Giant Trunade in his hand he had both of his Magic Removal Cards in his hand. Sadly, he couldn't really use Heavy Storm at the moment without destroying his face down card, and whatever was face down on Alex's side would only be gone for one turn if he used Giant Trunade. And until he had some idea of what that face card down was he wasn't going to be attacking.
"You know, I think I'll be ending my turn without doing a thing. Off to you Alex."

Michael arrived a few minutes after Ivan did. He got done with the job he had to do for a teacher. He sat done next to Ivan in the stands. "So what did I miss?" He said, as he sat down.

Alex didn't say anything, he just drew another card from his deck. the card was Metal Reflect Slime.
Hmm that seems like a bad hand... oh well. "I play my trap card" Alex put his card set his card face down "That is it"

((Thanks for fixing the post Dust.  )) "Alright then, it's my move now. And I can honestly say that this duel is going to be over very soon." Will said with a know-it-all smirk on his face. Pulling out his next card, Will found he pulled out Draining Shield. Sadly, he wouldn't be needing it right now, and so he decided to keep it safely tucked within his hand. "Now then, I'm going to start thing off with this card called Heavy Storm. Basically, it destroys all magic and trap cards on the field." Placing the card onto his duel disk he braced himself as a powerful gust of wind destroyed his Toon Defense as well as Alex's two cards. Once it all died down he continued on with his move. "There, now the field is clear of all annoying magic and traps that might stop me. Now then, let's add this little toy into play. I activate...Toon World." The grin on Will's face couldn't have been bigger as the magic book that was Toon World appeared on his side of the field. "Sure, it costs me 1000 LP to activate, but the cost is worth it for my Toon Monsters to attack your Life Points directly, as long as you don't have a toon on the field. So then, Toon Cannon Soldier do your thing." The toon fighting machine took a moment to let out an evil laugh before launching a charged blast at Alex directly, knocking out 1400 LP in the process. "Now then, I'm going to finish my turn by summoning this little beauty. Go Toon Mermaid." A giant shell appeared on the field, and soon opened to reveal a mermaid sitting inside. She took a moment to give a quick wink at Alex before giving a giggle. ---------------------------------------------- Hand: Giant Trunade, B.E.T.D., Draining Shield Field: Toon World, Toon Cannon Soldier, Toon Mermaid (ATK: 14000, DEF: 1500) Graveyard: Toon Defense, Heavy Storm, T.T.C. Alex was getting very frustrated about this. Alex drewed another card, it was Foolish Burial.
"Hmm how can I use this" Alex thought for a minut before making his move.
"Ok I play Foolish Burial so I can send 1 card from my deck to my graveyard." Aled took the Dark Magician of Chaos out of his deck and put in in his graveyard. "Than, I play Monster reborn to take the card I just sent to the graveyard right to the field, the Dark Magician of Chaos! Now because he was Special Summoned to the field I get to take a spell card from my graveyard and put it in my hand." Alex took Monster reborn from his graveyard and put it in his hand.
Alex was smiling about the card he got. "Ok my Dark Magician of Chaos (2800/2600), attack Will's Toon Cannon Soldier. Oh and by the way Will, when the Dark Magician of Chaos destroys a monster it is removed from play. So you can't use that card in this duel again"

Crap, that didn't end up as well as I hoped it could have been. Still, this isn't over yet.
Will drew his card, and found he had drawn Sebek's Blessing. Adding in Draining Shield he would gain a huge chunk of lifepoints. It was a good think quickplay cards could be played from your hand on your turn.
"Alright then, let's start this off by placing one card face down onto the field. Next, I'll have my Toon Mermaid attack your life points directly, though I do have to pay 500 LP to do so.However, I also activate the quick play magic card Sebek's Blessing, which allows me to gain the Life Point's equal to the damage I cause when a monster I control attack the lifepoint's directly. So that gives me a net gain of 900 LP."
The Toon Mermaid pulled out her arrow, and with a wink sent an arrow straight at Alex for a total of 1400 damages of LP, leaving Alex with 1200 LP.
"Now then, I'll keep Toon Mermaid in attack mode and end my turn."

"Uhh, yes I've played in here a time or two." He said, leaning back with his hands resting on the back of his head. "It's neat to have all this space to duel with. As for the army, I guess after my times up here I'll be on my way. I think I have a couple of years or so before I have to leave." He said, chuckling a bit. "Guess that’s what I get for joining so late."
