"None. The monks were fine with it. They were just interested in knowing who did it. Most airbenders are pretty lighthearted, but I guess if the one you deal with the most is me you forget that." Ishimaru said as he rolled up besides Avani and Zhang.
"So then, what have you been doing today? I've been helping Avani here with some airbending practice. She's making steady progress."

Zhang shrugged, admitingly he had yet to do anything really. His day had consisted of spying on Avani and Ishimaru, sleeping while spying, and walking around aimlessly.
"Oh... a lot of important totally awesome stuff. You know... the uh, usual?"

"So you mean you did absolutely nothing then?" Ishimaru replied. He kind of knew that when people said 'the usual' that it usually meant that they did nothing. But maybe there was something he could do for him.
"Hey Zhang, Avani here mentioned that somebody told her I would be uncomfortable with her dating Garun. Any idea who would have told her something like that?" He asked, eyes narrowing in suspicion.

Zhang nodded and began to laugh when Ishimaru knew he hadnt done a thing, but stopped when he was accused of telling Avani what ever it was. He blinked a few times and shifted uncomfortably, then raised an eyebrow.
"Nope... why? ARE you uncomfortable with her dating Garun?"

"No, I don't mind if she's dating. I was just interested in knowing who told her that so I can correct them on it. If they told her that once, they could tell her again. And I don't want her to be distracted with these sort of things during training." Ishimaru said, a little bit defensively.
It sounded like something he would say, and in fact it wasn't a complete lie. Still, he didn't know why talking about this made him so defensive. Maybe it was just because he wasn't used to having to deal with romantic conflicts like this.

Skeptical, Zhang had both eyebrows raised and his eyes narrowed. But a grin slowly began to spread across his face.
"So.. what does Garun think about you two having all of this... alone time?"

Ishimaru shrugged. He really didn't know the answer to that because he hadn't seen Garun lately.
"Don't know. I have not seen him around lately. I would assume he is fine with it. I don't believe I am that much of a threat to his romantic interest in Avani."

Zhang nodded, now that was something he could believe. The firebender didnt think Ishimaru could ever really like, yet alone love somebody so he didnt think Garun had much to worry about.
"So uh, where are you two headin off to?"

"Just into the main eating area to get some lunch. Like I said, Avani's been busy and I thought it best we not stress her body to much with work. You have to keep a balance you know." Ishimaru said as he started to move his wheelchair around Zhang to head off.
"Feel free to join us if you want."

"I used to spend all day training, so breaks dont need to be that often."Avani told Ishimaru, "But its very kind of you to be so considerate."

"Yes, well, not training all day is part of your training. While it does help your skills, at the same time it drains your body and tires you out. I'm trying to teach you balance as well as airbending." Ishimaru replied as the three of them headed towards the hall.

Ishimaru fidgeted around for a moment as he heard Zhang whistle the Fire Nation's anthem. Even after all these years, the Airbenders, especially ones who were former members of the Earth Kingdom, had felt a bit uneasy about the Fire Nation. While it didn't lead into any active hatred, they would feel a bit uncomfortable in situations in which Fire Nation nationalism popped up.
"Uh, Zhang, would you mind not whistling that? It kind of makes me a bit uncomfortable. I hope you understand."
