Waking Up to A New Adventure

[Pikachu]

What in the world just happened? Richard thought. The last thing that he remembered was that he had opened up some strange e-mail followed by a large blast of light. He slowly opened his eyes, and as his vision cleared, he realized that he was not at his computer anymore. Instead, he was in what looked like a jungle of some sort. This quickly got him up, and Richard realized that something else was wrong. His view was alot more grounded than before, and he couldn't feel his arms. Looking down, he realized why.

"What in the world happened to me!" He yelled, frightened by the revelation that he wasn't human. Instead, he was some small, blue, fuzzy little monster.On one his ears was a small, cross shaped object.

"Great, now what I'm supposed to do? I'm in a strange place, and definantly not human."

[Digital ♥]

"Heh.. and I thought I was the only one.."

A small purple Imp like creature sat in a tree. He squng his legs, seeming not to care too much about his own really odd transformation.

"The names Impmon... thats what I`ve been called since I got here..."he stated leaping from the tree onto the ground,"Whats your name?"

[Pikachu]

"Richard,but going off of what you said, sounds like I'm called something else here."

At that point, the device on Richard's ear made a beeping noise, startling Richard half to death. He still couldn't read the thing, though within a minute he was able to get a glimpse of the screen. On it was what looked like a picture of what he looked like now, and below it the word Pagumon.

"Apparently I'm Pagumon. Says I'm in In-Training level of something."

Using his other ear, Richard started playing around with the buttons in hope of getting more information. Suddenly, the device glowed, and so did Richard. He was bathed in a white light, and he couldn't really explain what he felt. All he knew is that once he was over, he sure wasn't Pagumon anymore.

Instead, he was some gray-colored beast with a tail and large,black claws. The device was now on his right arm.

"That was weird, but at least I have limbs now."

Reading on the device, he discovered his name was now Gazimon, Rookie level.

"So, do you have any idea about what is going on?"

[Digital ♥]

Impmon crossed his arms.

"Notta clue.."he said, particularly loud,"And the whole glowly light thing, it happend to me a few minutes ago .. the new looks are much better than the legless ones.."

[Pikachu]

"Yeah, I can agree with that. Its much better having legs than being a small bouncy head."

As the two of them talked, in the background a large, red insect Digimon was busy trying to sleep. However, the noise of them talking was getting on its nerves. The Digimon was a Kuwagamon, and it short temper soon emptied out. Coming out of the woods in all its growling furry, it headed straight towards the two former humans.

"Uh, do you hear.. DUCK." Richard (who I'll call Gazimon when we are in the Digital World) yelled out as the flying beast headed towards the two of them.

[Digital ♥]

Impmon saw the beast and lept out of the way. He glared.

"HEY! Watch where your flyin!"he yelled, as he shook a red gloved fist in the air.

[Pikachu]

Missing its targets, the Kuwagamon turned around to take another shot at them.

"Uh, Impmon, I really don't think that was an accident. We should probably make a run for it."

Gazimon started running into the woods, and was almost instinctively doing it on four legs. He made sure to stay slow enough that Impmon could see him.

[Digital ♥]

Impmon glared at the bug and jumped to his feet, sprinting after Gazimon. Once he caught up he glanced back.

"I could`ve taken `im.."he muttered.

[Pikachu]

"Look like you get the chance to.He's coming this way." Gazimon said as the looming insect crashed through the trees. Gazimon dug his heels in the dirt to stop, and then turned to Impmon.

"Got any idea of what to do?"

[Digital ♥]

"Yeah, I`ll distract it while you can gett outta here..."said Impmon bringing his fists to his sides,"I`ll come and find ya later.."

[Pikachu]

Gazimon was about to do so, till he realized what that meant. He was a bit angered, though his past actions kind of supported. Still, he wasn't a coward, and right now wasn't the best time to get separated.

"No way, if your staying, I'm staying. Besides, two against one is better right?"

[Digital ♥]

"Yeah yeah ... what ever.."stated Impmon,"Lets just take it down quickly so can get back to doing nothing.."

[Pikachu]

The Kuwagamon was fast approaching, its pincers ready to break the two Digimon in half. Gazimon was panting, as adrenaline and fear mixed together to create a heavy breathing. He sucked in some air to calm himself, but was a bit surprised at what came out. When he let the breath out, so did a cloud of gas. It hit the Kuwagamon in the face, and caused it to turn away into a tree.

"Uh, what just happened?" Gazimon stated. There wasn't any time to answer,though, as the Kuwagamon was soon in the air ready to charge again.

Impmon tryed the same thing as Gazimon did, but nothing happend. a bit frustraited, he raised a fist and then pointed a finger at in the air.

"Your goin down!"He pointed his finger at the bug, a flame flew from it heading right twards the beast,"Woah ..."

[Pikachu]

"Well, at least we have an idea of how to defend ourselves like this. You get tiny flames and I get poison breath..wonder if theres any way to switch?" Gazimon said, with that last part just being a random comment.

The flames hit Kuwagamon, knocking it off track once again. Shaking it off, the Kuwagamon turned to the two of them. After a moment, it decided that fighting these two over just talking loud wasn't worth it. Besides, he had gotten them away from his nest.

"Glad thats over with." Gazimon said as the hulking insect walked off. Sitting down on the ground,making sure to not sit on his tail (he shuddered at the thought), he looked over at Impmon.

"Its probably best we take a break before doing anything else. We wouldn't want to be tired if more of those things attacked."
