The 'Ghost Town' Factory ((OPEN))

Veemon had come across a huge mechanical factory, its many pipes and chimney-like structures pumping dark fumes into the sky, it was almost a saddening sight, but Veemon, who was heading there for directions only, didnt seem interested at the minute, walking down the darkened path, Veemon entered the factories shadow and was soon within the walls, his gaze became more bewildered as he looked aorund him, straight ahead was a huge conveyor belt, stretching from the wall to almost the full room, turning into a dark square which probably led into another room, on the conveyor belts was an assortment of machinery and scrap, there were no workers, only machines that were dealing with this pile of mechanics, Veemon watched silently as one of the machines put some of the machinery together and put it back on the conveyor belt, which drove it to another machine, which... disassembled it?? "what is the point in that..." Veemon murmured, heading over to the conveyor belt, he looked at one of the mechanical arms of the machine, he wouldnt get any directions here, so he turned around and headed for a door that towered over him due to its size and his size, the door was obviously automatic as it slid open as he approached it, looking through the door, Veemon saw nothing but darkness, but not that put off, he headed confidently into the room.

As Veemon entered the room he activated a motion sensor. Two small red lights appeared from the far side of the room, though a few seconds later the rest of the lights began to turn on and eventually illuminating the room. The red light was coming from a humanoid looking robot, specifically one of its eyes. The robot was attacked to the wall from some wires, but these soon fell of as it began to move. Freed from its wires, it started moving towards Veemon.

"I am Andromon, protector of Factory Town. You have five minutes to state your name and business before I am forced to destroy you."

Veemon jumped slightly at the appearance of Andromon, but quickly composed himself, his next worry was what to answer to Andromon's problem, should he tell him his real name, or his digimon name... he decided to test his luck, "im here to look around for directions, as for my name... that doesnt matter much, i plan to get directions and leave" Veemon told Andromon clearly, if this guy was a 'guardian', then he had no reason to attack Veemon, unlessd he was a trigger happy digimon.

The red lights on Andromon's eyes disappeared, leaving normal eyes behind. A small light scanned over Veemon, and after a moment Andromon responded.

"Veemon, Rookie level Digimon. Threat Level; None. Guardian mode off."

While the Andromon didn't look like it did anything, one could sense that the Digimon wasn't as tense as before.

"How may I provide assistance to you Veemon?"

"well, the only reason i came here is for directons" Veemon mutterd, and as he did so, a dozen more questions came to his mind, but he pushed them back and continued "do you know any interesting places outside of this factory?" Veemon asked Andromon, he didnt like this place much, it was just too strange with what it did, and he didnt like the look of the machine digimon, it might just change its mind and blast him, althogh it seemed harmless.

The Andromon's eyes looked like they were glazed over for a moment before he spoke.

"Interesting locations outside of this factory include Primary Village, File City, Infinity Mountain, and several environmental regions of varying types. You may requeast fore more information if you desire. May I provide you with anymore assistance?"

Veemon felt a slight rush of relief at Andromon's words, especially about this city, it would be nice to get to a nice crowded city for a change to forests and factories, and maybe find someone with half a sane mind, he couldnt do with meeting all these weird people, first those people at the lake, then this machinery in the factory, Veemon didnt feel any animosity against Andromon, he after all was his best chance of getting to where he needed to be, "i like the sound of this city, could you tell me a bit more about it?" Veemon asked politely.

"File City is a moderate sized city located at the base of Infinity Mountain. It has been recently built as it was built after the arrival of Duskmon as ruler of File Island. There he built a small base, which quickly developed into a small city as Digimon began to live there. A variety of services are provided such as restaurants and lodges. Is there anything else you wish to know."

"just one more thing, how exactly do i get there?" Veemon asked Andromon, this city seemed quite a place to go to next, he would just have to look out for this Duskmon, if he was the ruler of this island, maybe he knew a few tihngs.

[Pikachu]

"Infinity Mountain is not hard to spot as it is the highest mountain on the island. Circle the base of it and you will eventually find it. If you want more detailed instructions, I can provide it. Go 1.2 miles..." Andromon continued on with his highly detailed instructions for several minutes.

"no-- wait-- its alright" Veemon told Andromon, in a hope of stopping his tirade of directions, "ill just go to the mountain and circle around it, i wouldnt have remembered what you would have told me anyway" Veemon told Andromon, before turning around, "err... thanks for the help, might see you again" Veemon said over his back, before walking out of the room.
