The serch for darkness...

[Michael]

BKGuilmon finally slowed to a halt. Virus breath was leaking out of his mouth, as he was heavily panting. When he finally caught his breath, he looked around.

Hmm... Were am I...?

He ended up near a huge canyon. "Wow... haven’t ran like that in a wile..." he said to himself. Then he began thinking about that E-mail he got earlier.

Who sent that last E-mail...? They wanted me to help conquer this world, so... Were are they then...?

He thought to himself. "Maybe I'm just supposed to wait for them to find me..." He said, sitting down to think some more.

[Pikachu]

"I could tell you haven't run like that, you were a giant clumsy oaf." A voice said from above.

BKGuilmon was standing under a dead tree, and up in the branches was a Digimon. It was a small, bat-like Digimon. It had a bit of an evil grin on its face as he jumped down in front of the black dinosaur.

"The names DemiDevimon, at your service. I work for Duskmon, and he sent me to take a look at you. Something about being a new recruit. Personally, I don't like the way you look. Can't even run straight."

[Michael]

BKGuilmon looked at DemiDevimon. BKGuilmon cracked a smile and chuckled a bit at the insult. "Hmm... Nice to meet you too." he said, sarcastically. "Who is this Duskmon you spoke of?"

This is good... Maybe now I can get some answers.

[Pikachu]

DemiDevimon looked down at the ground in pity. Duskmon wanted to hire this guy who didn't even know who Duskmon was. What kind of use is this guy going to be.

"Hmm, well if you must know he's the guy in charge of the island. Of course, if you don't even know him I guess I'm just wasting my time."

[Digital ♥]

Impmon paused when he heard voices. He walked forward and looked about. Somebody was talking to that dinosaur creature.

"Hey who are you?"Impmon asked DemiDevimon.

[Michael]

This one is quite the character.

BKGuilmon realized that "Duskmon" was apart of the E-mail he got. "Hang on a sec. Someone sent me an E-mail that had Duskmon in the address... He wished me to help him rule the world or something. So I answered yes." He said to Demidevimon.

"Is this that same person?"

[Pikachu]

DemiDevimon looked up when he heard a new voice calling out. It was an Impmon, nothing to worry about.

"As I told your friend here I'm DemiDevimon.As for you," he turned his attention to BKGuilmon," I have no clue what you're talking about. All I know is that Duskmon has ordered me to check you out and see if you would be a worthy recruit. So show me what you got, give me a demonstration."

DemiDevimon flapped onto the branch to watch the show.

Impmon crossed his arms.

"Hey Demi Jerk Face, why should he show ya what he can do? I bet we can take ya easily! Besides what has this Duskmon ever done for any of us, yet alone him?"Obviously Impmon was interested in what this Dusk dude had to offer.

[Michael]

"As you wish..." he said, to DemiDevimon. "Pyro Grenade!" BKGuilmon drew in energy for a moment. Then he raised his head up a bit and opened his mouth. Several Fiery grenades shot out and exploded in the air. A few dropped on the ground and exploded and left small craters on the ground. Then he got ready to launch another attack by crouching some. "Virus Breath!" BKGuilmon took a deep breath, then exhaled. The dark, toxic breath spewed every were. As it covered the ground, what was left of the little grass on the ground began to die and shriveled. After it was finished he shouted "Rock Crusher!" He began slashing out at random rocks and broke them into pieces. Then BKGuilmon started launching random attacks.

(BKGuilmon was egnoring Impmon)

DemiDevimon yawned once BKGuilmon was finished showing his attacks. He had the power, that was for sure, but it shot it off like an In-Training Digimon.

"Impressive strength, bad form. I've seen Baby Digimon fight with more idea of what they were doing than you. If you want to really gain strength your going to need to train under someone. Hmm, maybe some time with Duskmon's minions would help you out."

DemiDevimon hopped and turned his attention to Impmon.

"And what about you, you want to join up with Duskmon's army as well? You look like a scrappy fellow."

[Michael]

BKGuilmon herd what Demidevimon said, he did have a point. "How about this?" He said as he opened his mouth. His mouth began glowing, as a Pyro Grenade formed in his mouth. Then instead of launching it, virus breath began poring out of his mouth a little bit. Both attacks combined to form a toxic version of Pyro Grenade. He fired it into the canyon. It ended up hitting the other side, causing a small avalanche. Then the toxic gas pored into the canyon. "Heh. How was that?"

[Pikachu]

(How can you have an avalanche in a desert canyon?Don't you mean rock slide?)

"Eh, thats a little better. I guess we can give you a shot."

DemiDevimon readjusted himself into a more comfortable position on the branch. The guy wasn't bad, but he wasn't sure if the kid could work in a military environment. He didn't seem to be the kind of person who would take orders that well, and he seemed a bit to destructive. Possibly could work for suicide missions, but that didn't happen much.

"Well, if your really interested I would say head towards File City and go to the recruitment office. I'll stay here with this Impmon."

[Michael]

"Hmm... Very well, this sounds promising. Always wanted to join an army." He said, walking towards the city.

Didn’t think their was a military on this bazar place.

"Heh... whats in it for me, If I serve this Dusk dude what do I get in return?"Impmon spat.

[Pikachu]

"Interested in looking out for number one, eh? Your a smart Digmon Impmon." DemiD. said with a grin.

"Well for starters you get food and shelter as well as some training in fighting. But more importantly, you get power. Fighting other Digimon and constantly increasing your strength is the main draw for those who join. And I bet your interested in gaining a little bit of power, aren't you?"
