It was about noon, and Richard was on his computer as usual. His parents and sister were currently out shopping, and so the house was quiet except for him and his radio. He was working on a roleplay forum of his, making changes, posting replies, etc. While he was doing this, a little icon on the toolbar began flashing.
"Who would send me an e-mail?" He wondered.
Clicking on the icon, he found that he had one message from a Azulongmon@digi.com. Thinking that it was some stupid spam mail, he clicked to delete it. However, he found that it wouldn't delete, no matter what he did. With no choice, he opened the letter, expecting his computer to crash or something. Instead, he had a message.
Thank you for opening my message. The Digital World is in grave danger, and only you and the rest of the Digidestined can save it. The risks are great, but so are the rewards. If you choose to accept my plea, click yes. If you want to ignore it and continue with your life, click no.
Below were two hyperlinks. One said yes, the other no. Believing it to be some online roleplaying game, Richard clicked yes. The last thing he saw before blacking out was a burst of white light.
