Alex yawned as she spun around in one of those fancy office chairs. Impmon sat on her lap and held on for dear life. When she stopped, her head spun, her digimon fell of the chair and rolled around on the ground. She laughed loudly as her partner staggered to his feet, he too laughed.
"Where is everybody?"she asked, "Im bored and I dont have anything to do! Are there any missions?"
The two waited for an answer that might not ever come.

Richard was hanging around DATS headquarters as well, though unlike Alex he wasn't spinning around in a chair. Instead he had a book with him and was reading it as he walked down the hall. Patamon was resting on his head, apparently bored to death.
"Hey Richard, where is everybody?" He asked.
Richard, still keeping his eyes on the book, explained to Patamon that everybody must have been on a mission or something. However, his statement proved wrong when he heard a voice coming from another room. Poking his head inside he noticed Alex and Impmon were playing around on a chair.
"Having fun you two?" He asked with a bit of a grin as Patamon's eyes averted them.

"Woah! There is life in this place!"Impmon shouted as he wobbled back and forth. Alex grinned, she was glad to see there were others there. Better yet they were probably as bored as she was.
"Is there ever anything to do here? They never give me any missions."Alex complained, "Is it because im new?"

Richard shrugged his shoulders before grabbing Patamon and moving him into a new spot in his arms.
"I wouldn't know, I just joined up myself. I haven't heard anything about any Digimon materializing recently so maybe there just aren't any missions to do?"

"I dunno... maybe.."Alex replied as she spun around again. Impmon looked sick to his stomach. He groaned when he flopped himself onto the ground and sat there.
"Aww man... my head hurts..."he told them, "Aleeeexxxxxxxxxxxxxxx......"
By now she was spinning pretty fast and when she stopped it suddenly the chair tipped over and she flew. She just lay there for awhile, sprawled out on the ground. Then she sat up and blinked.
"Ouch..."she laughed, "Im Alex by the way, and my partner there is Impmon."

The doors slid open and Nick slouched in, followed by his Keramon, Kira. Kira, as usual, looked excessively enthusiastic, while Nick looked pessimistic. "Where is everybody?" He asked. "Last time I was here, this place was swarming with people."

Alex turned her body to see who the new voice belonged to. This was turning into some sort of party now. Impmon leapt to his feet and went to see who else was there.
"Is it always that happy?"The purple digimon pointed at Kira. Alex got up and walked over to her digimon.
"Im Alex."she told Nick.

"I am actually... You gotta problem with that?"Impmon hissed as Alex placed her hand on his head and forced him back. He tried to walk forward even though he didnt move at all, it was almost like a cartoon.
"Nice to meet you too Nick."she replied, "Chill out Impmon."
He crossed his arms and frowned, "Fine..."

"So. What does this place even do?" Nick asked grumpily.
Kira wandered off and began examining control panels. "Hey, this stuff is really cool, Nick! Think you can hack it?" He chirped.

"Dont touch anything!"Alex shouted, "The boss told me not to touch anything, if we break it the whole system could go down .. or something..."
Impmon tried to pick up the fallen chair, but got no where.
"Awww man... being this weak sucks... Let me digivolve! Come on!!!!!"
"I wish, but incase something happens we have to be ready."

Nick shrugged. "I was impressed into this duty." He said, walking over to one of the computers and booting it up. "Yeah, Kira, I can probably hack this thing. Could use your help. Get over here."
Keramon slid over to Nick's side.

She helped her partner set up the chair and placed him in it.
"There ya go Impy." Impmon didnt seem amused by the new nickname.

"Impy?" Nick chuckled. "Nice name." Then he turned to his partner. "Activate process L Beta."
"Process L Beta? You got it, Nick!" Kira said, placing his fingers against the computer. Code started to run under his fingers and his eyes started to glow.
