Giro was running through the dense forest. He was running about 40 mph, so he could see were he was going and not hit any trees. He really didn't have anything to do so he was just roaming around.

Guiscard had made his ways to the edges of the forest. He had been hired by some unknown commissioner to investigate the area for any artifacts related to the ancient civilization that was said to have existed in the area in the distant past. So far all he had found had been trees. Lots and lots of trees. Still, he had been expecting it. Even so, it was a pain to navigate the branches and vines everywhere.

Giro ran past Guiscard rather quickly. Quick enough were Giro really didn't noticed Guiscard. Giro started to slow down some; the area he ran in had a lot of vines and roots all over the place. He didn't want to trip and break something due to 'unnecessary' carelessness.

As Guiscard was busy dealing with a rather nasty vine, he noticed something run by quickly. For a moment he thought it some rare animal species (always a good way to make some quick cash), but eventually he noticed it was just a hedgehog.
"Excuse me, you there. Do you have any idea how much further the ruins are, if there are ruins here that is."

Giro looked back and smiled. He knew where the ruins were. He passes them constantly as he runs around the forest. Giro pointed in the direction of the ruins and moved towards the ruins, with quickened speed.

"Hey wait, why don't you slow down so I can actually follow you!" Guiscard yelled out as he worked to try and keep up with the hedgehog. It was being a real pain too, with all the woods and vines and trees being in the way. If there was one part of the job he hated, it was moments like this were his entire life depended on an idiotic guide.
Then again, at least the employer promised to pay well for all his trouble, and once he got past these woods the job would be easy. All he had to do was search for some emerald supposedly located in the ruins of the temples. How hard would that be?
