After several hours from the Southern Air Temple, the group finally arrived upon the coast of the Earth Kingdom. It looked like it was about noon, and he was sure the others were probably starting to get hungry. Sadly, the coast at this point didn't look like a safe place to land, so they had to wait a little bit longer before eventually he motioned Suppo to begin descending.
Soon they were on the ground in a field. He didn't like being out in the open, but he hadn't seen anyone else nearby so he thought it safe.
"Well then everyone, welcome to the Earth Kingdom. I believe it would be safe to stop here for a little while and have some lunch while Suppo rests up."

As soon as Suppo landed the fire bender leapt off the bisons saddle and onto the soft grass. He flopped himself down and spread out in the grass, it felt nice. Avani also got off the saddle, with Yasuo close behind. She fixed her wind swept hair with a laugh, the snow leopard purred as he cleaned his paws.
"Sounds good to me," Zhang said on an exhale, "How much longer till we get to Omashu?"

With everyone else off, Ishimaru carefully made his way down to the ground. Once he was there, Suppo began to much on the grass in the area. Ishimaru sat down on the ground near Avani. When asked how much longer till they got to Omashu, Ishimaru had to think. They were near the coast, and since they couldn' just fly straight there it meant it would be some time till they got there.
"I can't say for sure, but I would estimate two weeks at the most. But since you want to get home as soon as possible, we could make a detour to a town with passage to the Fire Nation. If there is one that is."

Zhang sat up and tilted his head to the side, thinking about what was best for the avatar. A short cut might mean trouble, and he didnt want to be the cause of that. He shrugged, he didnt really mind which way they went.
"Ehh, doesnt matter to me." He replied, " What ever works for you two is perfectly fine with me."
Avani ran around the meadow looking for some flowers. Yasuo trotted after her and when ever he found a plant he would carefully pluck it out of the ground with his teeth and carry it over to her.

"Well, I don't want to keep you here longer than you want to." Ishimaru replied, "and I'm sure that it would be no problem for us to drop you off somewhere. Just don't ask us to take you to the Fire Nation and I believe we'll be fine."
While Avani was out in the meadow looking for flowers, she might have noticed that there was a strange lack of them for this time of the year. Furthermore, Yasuo may have picked up the faint sound of music and laughter nearby.

Yasuo was just picking a bunch of weeds and took them to Avani, she laughed as she took the weeds from her leopard.
"Thank you Yasuo, you`ve been very helpful." She noticed that the large cat had stopped and glanced around. "What do you hear Yas?"
Zhang got to his feet and headed over toward the young avatar.
"I heard it too." Avani told Yasuo, "Zhang do you hear that?"
Zhang crossed his arms and listened, he didnt hear anything at first and shrugged.
"Umm... not really."

Ishimaru noticed Zhang leaving to go visit Avani, and got up to follow him. As he did so, he thought he heard something as well. It sounded like Avani and Yasuo heard it as well. It sounded like a giant party or something to him.
"Maybe we should investigate the sound and make sure that the people are friendly. I'd hate to be flying over some village only to be shot down again."

The two other benders nodded their heads and headed off. Avani took the lead since Yasuo could sniff out any enemies before they found them. Zhang took up the back of the group to protect the rear incase anyone attacked from behind. The young avatar skipped ahead, with Yasuo close by her side.
"Maybe its a festival! We always had a tribal festival around this time of the year in the north." Avani shouted to the group.
Zhang scratched his sideburns and looked up at Ishimaru.
"Hmmm, maybe shes right."

Ishimaru 'jumped' along behind Avani, having to work on walking with crutches. Still, he kept up rather well, and as they moved on they could make more distinctive sounds of laughter and music. He heard the mention of a festival, and remembered that some of the Earthbenders that had settled in the Air Temples did have a little party around this part of the year.
"I think she may be right Zhang. At least we hit a town closeby."
Eventually the group found the small village, and right in the middle of it there was a massive table of food. nearby people were dancing, chatting, and other various activities. The music was rather cheery, and the place was decorated with flowers everywhere.

Zhang paused when he saw all of the Earth Kingdom citizens, if these ones didnt like firebenders then he would just cause a bunch of trouble. He turned around and looked back at his traveling companions.
"Erm.... I not sure if I should go partying with you guys." He told them, mostly Ishimaru, "They might not like me too much. I`ll go find some more suitable clothes, then i`ll come and find you guys, kay?"
Avani nodded her head and smelled the one flower and the giant clump of weeds in her hand. Yasuo nudged his head against her other hand.
"Sounds like a plan to me."

"Alright then?" Ishimaru replied nervously. He wasn't enjoying being left alone with Avani in the middle of a party. In fact, he wasn't that much of a party person. But the free food looked like a good place to start, and would help them by saving their food for another day. Besides, Avani needed her spirit brightened as she always seemed to go into a depressed state. Ishimaru may not be 'happy' according to most people, but he wasn't depressed.
"So Avani, do you want to get something to eat and just hang out around here for a little bit?"

Avani seemed to lose her hyper streak for the moment, she seemed much more calm and collected now. Her eyes scanned the party looking for any familiar faces, then she turned and looked back at Ishimaru. She shrugged her shoulders in a very lady like manor, Avani didnt really mind that they did so she was up for pretty much anything.
"Well we could stalk up on all of the good food before its gone, then we can just go hang out somewhere." She replied, glancing up at a bird that flew over them, "I can already tell you don`t like crowds."

"No, no, it's fine if you want to do anything. Except dancing because I'm not really in the condition for that."
Still, he liked the idea of getting some food. He'd just have to remember to bring something for Suppo to snack on when they left.

"I`m not much of a dancer either, even though it is sort of a custom to do some weird animal ritual dances. I was never one to pay attention though, I always had my head in the clouds dreaming of something bigger and better." Avani commented as she looked back at all of the food, it was best if they get all they could before it was time to leave.
"Does Suppo like apples?"

"Yes, she likes apples. She would be really happy if you could get her some. Just don't get to many. I don't want to spoil her."
As he stood at the bar of food, he noticed some people gathering around a man dressed in military uniform. It was a strange sight, as he had expected all the soldiers to be preparing for war or something. He would have just ignored him, but his attention was drawn towards a poster he was holding up.
"Uhm, Avani, I think we might want to leave. That soldier there has a wanted poster, and the creature on the poster looks like Suppo. I think they might still be after us from when we flew over their army."
