One advantage of being a WereGarurumon was the powerful legs. Normally they're used for kicking, but they are also of great use in jumping. With that in mind, WereGarurumon jumped to the side to avoid the missiles. The laser was a bit harder to do, so he did get a nice burn mark on his fur. Still, it wasn't going to be anything that would injure him in the long run. Looking up at the sun, he could see that he was starting to run out of time for his mission. "Well all, this has been a blast. However, I have more important places to be at the moment. I won't be leaving empty-handed." He turned towards Richard, who quickly grabbed a tighter hold on Patamon. The next thing he knew, the werewolf Digimon was rushing at him. Richard tried to get out of the way, but one Wolf Claw later Richard was down. He was still concious, but it hurt pretty bad. During the fall he had let go of Patamon, and he tried to grab him. WereGarurumon was faster. "Now then, I'm sure you all would like to continue this fight, but I'm sure my master wold enjoy analyzing this creature. He needs to know why Digimon would be willing to be slaves to humans." With that WereGarurumon took something out of one of the small pockets on his belt. It was a small, spherical device green and black in color. "This little guy creates a one use portal back to the Digital World. So I believe that this is goodbye." Pressing a button, WereGarurumon dropped the ball. A small portal with siding that looked like something out of the Matrix appeared. He jumped inside, and in seconds him and the portal were gone. ((And now begins our first major plot arc  )) |

Musyamon landed with a thud where WereGarurumon had stood only moments ago. His sword was in his right hand under a tense iron grip. He was hoping to get in a little bit of fight time, but it seems as if they had gotten there just a little bit too late. Musyamon growled, sliding his sword back through his belt. The tall samurai creature melted back into the small purple impmon that he naturally was. His tamer soon came running after that.
"d**n... we missed him Alex... Couldnt you have planned that flight just a little bit earlier? Geez..." Impmon complained, Alex just walked past her partner. But when she spotted Richard she made a dash for him and quickly knelt down beside him.
"Richard, are you okay?! Where is Patamon?"
Impmon scratched his chin and crossed his arms as he strutted towards them. He tried to make himself look cool and tough, which didnt work all that well since he was a small, purple, Imp.
"Yeaaahhh, where is the little orange fella? Hes the only one of them other Digimon partners I actually like." Neither of them noticed the two other tamers that where there. But if they spoke up, they might.

Justin and Guardromon ran up to where the portal. "Dammit! he got away with Patamon!" Justin yelled. Guardromon de-digivolved to Kokuwamon. "Yes...too bad I guess." Kokuwamon said almost uncaring. Justin looked and saw Alex and her digimon Impmon now. he with Kokuwamon walked up to them and Richard. Justin wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say to Richard at this time.

Richard just kind of laid there on the ground, rather oblivious to everything that had happened after that point. His hand was on his arm, which was bleeding slightly from the wolf claw attack. Other than that, he wasn’t moving or anything. He was awake, but he was suffering from a bit of shock from having his partner taken away from him just like that.
No one could blame him for that; he was a human up against an Ultimate Level Digimon after all. The fact the he had been tossed like a rag doll wasn’t anything to be ashamed of. Still, that didn’t help him at all. There must have been something he could have done to save Patamon from WereGarurumon. Instead, he just laid there, watching as the wolf-like Digimon jumped into some portal and disappeared. What kind of partner was he to do that?
Eventually his mind registered that there were others there, and that one of them was talking to him. It sounded like Alex and her partner Impmon had arrived. He tried to sit up, but the pain that shot through his arm soon squashed that plan. Instead, he just collapsed back onto the ground, though he did tilt his head to get a better look at the her and the others.
“Patamon was…Patamon was…Patamon was taken by WereGarurumon,” he snapped, his free hand forming a fist. He wasn’t ‘angry’, but his voice contained some strange mix of anger and depression in it.
“He said his master would want to analyze him and know why Digimon care about humans and then he took him and left. I should have done something, but I just sat here. The poor guy is probably scared to death. He can barely function with me, but who knows how he’ll deal by himself….”

Alex was careful with Richard, she tried to help him sit up but knew she couldnt carry him back to the headquarters by herself. Impmon couldnt do it in that form either, hopefully he still had a little energy left to get back.
"Dont worry Richard, have faith in Patamon. We`ll get him back as soon as possible. I`ll ask the commander if I can go to the digital world, and Impmon and I will hunt down that WereGarurumon and get Patamon back." She told him, Impmon raised an eyebrow. He was up for the challenge, especially if it meant he could battle more. "Impmon, do you think you can digivolve?"
Impmon laughed, did Alex doubt him? "Oh, I think I can manage. But you owe me one."
The digivice in her pocket glowed, and Impmon was soon incased in the familiar light. Impmon grew taller and was covered in armor. He placed his large katana back in its holder and trotted over to Alex and Richard.
"Musyamon is going to carry you back Richard. You`re in no shape to walk back yourself." Alex informed him, as if he had no choice. She didnt mean to seem overbearing, all she wanted to do was help him, "Be nice Musyamon or you`ll regret it."
Musyamon snorted at her and carefully picked Richard up.
"Put those ninja skills to work Mussy, we cant be seen."
"Mussy?!"
"Quiet down! You`re making a racket."

Justin's eyes widened as he heard the bit about maybe going to the digital world. The digital world? that sounds like a good place to try out my Digimon form again, and I may even get to use it agenst one of thoughts evil digimon who toot patamon. he thought.
Justin walked with Alex and her Digimon Musyamon. "Alex maybe I can come with you to the digital world. Kokuwamon and I can be a good help, and I really want to get Richards Partner back." he said to her. Kokuwamon was right behind Justing. He didn't show it, but Kokuwamon was very excited upon hearing about gong back to the digital world.

Jason got up slowly. Kenkimon dedigivolved and returned to his digivice. Then Jason slowly got up to a standing position and walked over to Justin. “Hey Justin I’m heading to my house I need patching up. I’ll meet you at the HQ later.” He told him. “And Richard…? I’m sorry about your partner. I’m sure it must hurt…” Jason turned and began walking in the direction of the residential area, to his dad’s house. As he walked he was clutching his arm to ease the pain.
He did over hear something about the digital world, but he really didn't care right now. All he did care about was getting patched up.

((OOC: Hey Michael, I know you just got back, but thats a little small for everything that's happened since you last posted. May I suggest a quick stop by the School of RP to get you back into the swing of things?))
Going to the Digital World? Was that even a possibility to begin with? Then again, it made sense. If Digimon could come to our world, and as that WereGarurumon showed, go back as well, then it wasn't farfetched to think that humans could do the same. The only question remaining was whether or not DATS had the technology to do so. Sure, they sent DigiEggs back all the time, but could it do the same to humans?
"If you're going to the Digital World, I'm coming with. I may not have a partner anymore, but I'm going to help save Patamon whether you all like it or not." he said as he stood up.
Just as he was getting his bearings, however, he found himself being lifted up by Musyamon. Richard was going to complain about it, but decided he'd play nice and let Alex help him out. It was a little uncomfortable being held by a Digimon like this, however. The samurai armor didn't help things out either. Still, he politely said thanks before quieting up. However, he couldn't help but laugh a little at the argument that broke out between the two partners.

Justin sighed and then smiled as he walked with his friends and Kokuwamon behind him. "Well guys I hate to leave, but I really want to get ready for that trip to the digital world." he said and started to walk off. Kokuwamon followed him and thought what the digital world looked like now and what was going on. Justin was walked back to DATS he was going to talk to Dr. Sutarone about this first. he hasn't seen him sence he was turned into a Digimon. he would proble be mad at Justin for disobaying his olders witch made Justin kind of scared to go see him to talk about going to the digital world.
(sorry if it is not much, but I couldn't think of much Justin could do here.)
