Akane noticed the marks on his cheeks, tilting her head a little to get a better look at them. They reminded her of Mai's marks, and the similarities were a bit to strange for her.
"How did you get those marks?" She asked, ignoring his comments about the doctor. Still, she knew that was important so she headed outside into the hallway, making sure to keep an eye on him so he couldn't weasel his way out of the question.

"Oh, these?" Masaaki pointed a finger at the markings on his cheeks. So he was right, she did notice. Akane noticed everything but that was no problem to him. He crossed his arms and turned slightly, glanced at her from the new angle.
"Their clan markings, one for each monster I`ve faced. Metaphorically speaking of course. Each line represents a road block i`ve faced in my life so far." The anbu followed after her as they headed down the hallway. "Why do you ask?"

"I had a friend who had face markings just like that. Kind of made her look like a fox or something. Guess I wanted to know if you two were related." She said as her eyes scanned the hallway before her. Over by the exit she spotted the man they were tailing, and she motioned for Masaaki to stop.
"Alright, theres our guy. So we just hold back a little and wait for something to happen. We then follow the kidnapper and find out where everyone else is. Got it?"

"Nawww, Mai and I arent related but I did know her very well." Masaaki replied as he saw the doctor they were going to be stalking for awhile, hopefully who ever was kidnapping the doctors would do it soon so they could get some action. He hadnt had a good fight in a long time.
"Yeah yeah I know, got it."

"Alright then." Akane said as she ended the conversation, focusing on their target. He left the hospital, walking down one of the streets. Akane stayed behind him at a safe distance, but so far it didn't look as if anything interesting was going to happen. Still, this was there best bet at finding out what was going on. As she waited, a cart came by, blocking the path in the road.
"Uh, excuse me sir, but you're going to need to move." She asked as politely as possible. The man ignored her, causing Akane to repeat the question. The man continued to ignore her, and Akane was going to complain again as he pulled a string. The next thing Akane knew there was a powder that hit her in the face, and feeling very sleepy.
((We need Maasaki to get caught in the trap as well.))

Masaaki had been training behind her since they left the hospital, when he saw the powder he leapt back but it was too late. He had inhaled a little bit of the power and yawned.
"What the.... hh..." He began to feel really really tired himself. The anbu staggered as he tried to keep on his feet. Then everything went black.

It was several hours before Akane woke up, finding herself alone in a small room. There was a bed, and a bucket, but nothing else. Sitting up, she found herself in the bed, slightly bruised from whatever trip she had taken to get here. She quickly patted herself down, but found no weapons on her body. Whoever was responsible for this sure was thorough.
She swung her legs off the bed, and walked up to the door. She started to tap it to see if there was a way out, but she was met with a small shock. The door was booby-trapped, and an attempt to escape would probably be met with an electric shock.
"Great, so where is Masaaki?" She said under breath, noticing the lack of her companion.

Masaaki groaned as he sat up, he rubbed the back of his head. It felt like who ever had took them there had just threw him into the room. He wasnt even on the little bed that was in the room.
"Akane?" There was no answer, when his vision steadied his eyes scanned the room. She wasnt there. Great... just freakin great.... What if she was in trouble and needed his help? Some mission leader he was.
He had a stare down with the door, did the people that kidnapped them know about him and his secret abilities only one other person knew about at the time. Masaaki decided to test the door, he didnt trust it at all. Using one finger he quickly tapped the door, a little shock ran through his body.
"Hmm.... Im glad Im good with lightning jutsu or that might have hurt a lot more..." He muttered to himself as he reached for the door knob. But first Masaaki carefully listened to see if anyone was coming,

As Akane continued to look around the room, she heard the sounds of footprints. She pressed her ear against he wall near the door, smart enough to not to press it to the door. She heard a conversation on the other side, but she couldn't really hear what it was. She quickly moved over to the bed when she heard someone approach her door, trying to fake sleep.
"Come on kid, we know you're awake. Come with us. The boss wants to see you and your friend."
Seeing as faking sleep was of no use, Akane stood up to face the man. He looked like your average ninja, though his headband had a slash through it. That meant whoever he was, he was a rogue ninja.
"Yeah, and why should I?" She asked, hands ready to perform jutsu.
"Because the boss has ordered us to kill the doctors should you resist. He's very interested in meeting you for some reason. Besides, the place is crawling with ninja. I doubt you'd want to face all of us at once."
I could probably take you all. She thought, but the doctors were being held hostage. Her mission was to rescue them, and she couldn't do that if they were dead. Besides, meeting the boss might give them more information as to what was going on.
"Fine, you win. But bring my friend with me."
"Already done. The boss wants to see him to."

Over at Masaaki's door, another man came to greet him, though he was a bit surprised to see Masaaki at the door.
"Trying to escape I presume. Trust me, you wouldn't want to do that. One alert to your escape and the doctors die. Now then, come with me. The boss wants to see you."

Masaaki crossed his arms and gave the man a cold stare. The doctors were still alive, which was a good thing. He didnt want to go along with this jerks plans but he had to.
"Alright... what ever. But if you hurt my friend I`ll kill you and the rest of you thugs." He replied.

"Don't worry, she's coming with us. But don't you two try anything funny or else." The man said as he placed a small paper, probably a seal, on the door. This allowed him to hold the door open from the inside.
Over at Akane's door, the man did a same thing. Akane left the room, with the man right behind her. He prodded her down the hall in the direction he wanted her to go, causing her to grumble some. Still, she headed down the way she was told, though she hoped that she would run into Masaaki on the way.

Masaaki headed out the door and down the hallway. He followed the mans instructions on which hallways to turn down and such. It was such a boring building, he stared at the blank walls and rolled his eyes. This was really stupid, he should just take this guy out, find Akane, snag the doctors and get out of there.
"So why`d you kidnap us? We arent doctors." Masaaki played stupid, perhaps he`d give out more info than he was supposed to. It wasnt likely but it was worth a shot.

"I'd like to know the answer myself. We would have left you in the Leaf Village, but the boss saw you two and freaked out. Told us to bring you here." The man said before shutting up. He knew the deal about spilling out information to the prisoners, and he honestly didn't know much else about the situation.
As him and Masaaki walked, they met up with the man and Akane. Akane gave Masaaki a quick glance to let him know she was fine before following the men. Eventually the group reached a room, cold air flowing out from underneath the room. The men opened the doors, showing the room behind them. It was a giant cavern, but someone must have put a powerful ice jutsu on it as it was freezing cold. In the distance there was a man shuffling through some papers, though he stopped when he heard the door open.
"Alright you two, the boss told us to stay out of here, but the first sign of trouble and we'll come busting in."

Masaaki nodded his head when he saw that Akane was okay, so far so good. He was perfectly fine too. When they got to the cave like room he looked around. He saw the man, this must have been the boss. Why was he so freaked out that they were there? Of course he had every right to be freaked out, they were leaf shinobi after all.
"Ha! I can take all of you guys!" Masaaki told the men, "But lets just get this over with. What do you want with us?"

As the man turned around, everyone could get a good look at his features. He was an older looking man, relatively scrawny looking. His hair was a dark brown and short, though messy. He was wearing a short-sleeved tan shirt with a jounin vest and a pair of tan pants. About the only thing that looked abnormal about him was that he looked as if he hadn't slept well in days, with bags under his bloodshot eyes.
"Alright you two, you're presence is no longer needed. And shut the door on the way out. You're letting all the heat in."
The two rogue ninja left, shutting the door behind Akane and Masaaki. Akane glared over at the man, but deep down she had a feeling she knew him from somewhere. She couldn't place a finger on it, but she swore she had seen him before. Still, he had kidnapped them and the doctors, so he wasn't someone to be trusted.
"Look, I'm sorry I dragged you two into this. I didn't mean to harm anyone. Once I was done with the doctors, I was going to let them go free. But you see, I needed these men to help me...and my wife."
Akane rolled her eyes in disbelief. It was such a lame excuse. Helping his wife. Did he really expect them to believe...
Akane's eyes noticed there was a sealed pod behind the man, and inside was a women. Her hair was long and dark-brown, and she looked quite beautiful as well. However, her skin was pale, and it looked as if she had trouble breathing. She watched as the man walked over to the pod, talking as he did so.
"You see, eight years ago my wife fell suddenly ill. Medical ninjas did all they could, but they couldn't find a reason for her disease. Her heart was on the verge of failing, but freezing her would be able to keep her alive till the cause was found. I was an expert on ice-elemental jutsu in my youth, so I tried my best to sustain her. And for a time I was able to. But lately she has gotten worse, and I knew that doctors working indepenently wouldn't be able to do anything. So I kidnapped the best heart doctors I could, hoping one of them could cure my dear wife."
