Akane heard Mai's warnings, and the tentacle dropped Heikichi, turning around to dissolve the incoming needles. Heikichi knew his chakra was starting to get low, as that last attack ate up quite a bit of it. Still, he couldn't lose this battle. Everything he had worked for was at stake. He tried to stand up, but found that he was starting to lose a lot of his mobility. Being slammed into hard stone twice had caused massive damage to his body, as well as being held up by demon chakra. Still, here was a chance to strike at Akane.
"I'm sorry for this." He whispered before performing a series of handsigns, followed by two large ether dragons appearing out of his arms. As they approached Akane, they began to spin into a tornado of sorts, sending the container of the Hachibi straight towards the wall. The tentacle grabbed onto a stalactite, allowing Akane to ride out the attack.
Soon she hung from the cave ceiling, but she let herself down before the demonic chakra began to disappear. She was tired, and the feelings of anger that had spurred her on before were fading. Still, she had to deal with her father.
As she looked up, however, she noticed he was just sitting there on his knees. He was looking around at the area before his eyes settled on Akane's mother's pod. Akane followed it, and found that something during the last few attacks had caused a hole to appear in it. The woman's deep, struggling breathes could be heard throughout the cavern as the clones disappeared.
"You know Akane, all this time I've been wondering what caused your mother's heart condition. But seeing you here and how far you've grown, I think I know what caused it. I think she's been dying of a broken heart. Trust me Akane, I may not have been much of a father, but your mother there would have taken on Naruto Uzumaki himself if she had known you were alive." He said as he laughed a little before collapsing onto the ground.
((Yes, I know the battle was relatively quick. But the ice attacks he's been using do use up a lot of chakra. And well, it wouldn't have been fun to fight a guy who has little to no taijutsu skills and was all out of chakra.))
