"Is that the best you got?" Hojo said as he moved to dodge the kunai. When Mai went behind him to attack with a fireball,Hojo ducked and turned to go at her. Kicking up his leg straight towards her, Hojo made sure to hold back some strength.* The last thing he needed was to give a student broken ribs.

(Ooh, yeah, almost forgot about that. Are the weapons/tools a one time use, or can they be used as many times as you want?)
Chakra: 90
While Hojo`s back was turned, Mai had gotten her Chakra knives ready. Because she was still a genin, she didnt have the best control of her chakra, so couldnt use the knoives to there full potental. In order to get up close without Hojo knowing whats going through her head, she knew she would have to take this hit. She tried, with little sucess, to lengthen the knuckle blades, but barely anything happend. As she took the hit, she aimed her blades to strike as soon as she punched. The same trick wouldnt fool anyone twice, so she had to make this work. She sent her fists right at him as he kicked her.
Mai felt the pain, but didnt show it. She knew her fists missed, as she flew through the air, she quickly gathered her next quick plan into her head. She quickly turned in the air, as she hit the ground she landed and she as fast as she could turned back to attack again. As she took a dash at Hojo went at him from an angle. In her mind, she was ready to attack, but she wondered what her friend would do to help...

[OOC:Things like Kunai,shurikens, and needles will run out eventually.Everything else can be used till they get broke somehow, if you want.Not going to put a RP post, going to let Neo post first]

As the two attacked, Garun tried his best to get behind Hojo. Doing some hand signs he then said "Fireball jutsu" letting him shoot a jet of fire from his mouth at hojo.
((How much chakra do you start of with??))

(Copy ninja?!?! : P You start off with 100, but Fireball Jutsu uses 10, so your at 90)

Waiting a minute before moving, Hojo timed his jump away from the fire in a way that if Garun kept it up, he would burn Mai. This was testing to see if their reaction times were any good.
Hojo Tip #1: A ninja must have fast reflexes to be able to dodge any attack

Seeing Hojo dodge Garun stopped his flames but the ones already out wouldnt stop til they were put out. "Mai dodge quickly" Garun said before he turned and threw a Kunai at Hojo.

"Easy."
Mai quickly lept out of the way and back at Hojo, this time chakra flowed into the knucke knives, but not much. it extended the blades as she got close to Hojo. As fast as she could, she lept at her sensei, blades extened forward ready to attack if she landed a hit.

Before he got the chance to do something, Hojo had to dodge the kunai thrown by Garun. He was glad they were getting to work together as a team, which was one of the things he was trying to do anyways.Still, he wouldn't be going to easy on them. As Mai leaped at him with her knuckle knives, Hojo swung with the fist opposite it. It was a match of speed; Mai's knuckle knives or Hojo's fist.

She knew that she was going to get hit if she didnt pull out now, but then it would take awhile before she got another good attack in. She`d have to take this hit too. She braught one arm up in defense, and while his fist hit her arm, she barught her other fist under and swung her fist in for another attack. It would be a good time for Garun to attack again since Hojo was distracted.

Seeing that hojo was now aiming for Mai, Garun took it as his chance to attack. Garun ran at Hojo. If I had trained more with my medic jutsu I could have stopped him from attacking but as I cant I will just hope for the best Garun thought before pulling out a kunai. Running faster Garun got ready to swipe at Hojo's unprotected back.

Taking a hit in order to strike back. Very clever tactic for a genin.I'd usually expect them to dodge and then go in for an attack
With Mai's attack going at him, Hojo was a little busy to worry about Garun. A simple kunai strike wouldn't be something to worry about, so he decided to ignore it. Besides, it was getting close to the end of the fight, as Mai was getting hit quite a bit.
Taking Mai's hit in order to break there little stalemate, Hojo stepped back a little. He had some cuts from the knuckle knives, but nothing to much. He would let Garun attack, and then call it off to let him practice his medic jutsu.

Mai took a second to recoop after that, she`d let Garun do something now.

Garun finally got close enough to take a swing at hojo with his kunai. Swinging his arm back he launched it at hojos back.
