Garun took a breath before walking in and looking at Mai. "im off" He said before turning to Hiroshi. "Your right. I dont deserve anyones respect and I have no right trying t protect Mai. So you win. You can have Mai all to your self. " Garun said before walking out the room and running down the corridor.

Hiroshi snorted, he didnt mean what he said in a mean way. He just wanted what was best for Mai. She looked at Hiroshi.
"What did you do?"she asked, Daisuke groaned and said, "I`ll go find him..."
The Uchiha quickly followed Garun.

Garun stopped at the end of the corridor and leaned against the wall. He then sat down before trying to calm himself down.

Daisuke appeared before him, arms crossed. He towered above Garun.
"You okay?"he asked awkwardly, he wasnt used to acting so... sensitive.

"No Im not ok" Garun said quietly. "Im trying to keep Mai safe but im only a genin. Hiroshi is right. I deserve no respect from anyone. I just want to keep her safe but i keep getting judged on how I acted in the mission. All I was doing was keeping to the mission objective. I use healing jutsu so until I master it more I cant really do much in combat. And my fire jutsu could of hit Hojo or Mai and I didnt want them to get hurt" Garun said to Daisuke.

"And so do I... I just dont want to be left out of protecting her. With Hiroshi it's like he would rather I wasnt around so Mai didnt get distracted from him. I mean I can use healing jutsu so in combat I can help make sure the ones who are good at fighting keep in the fight. I mean I would give my lifee to keep Mai safe." Garun said to Daisuke. Garun found it easier talking to Daisuke.

"Yeah and so would he, you have to understand something about Hiroshi though. His family was killed when he was quite young, ever since the Uchiha clan has taken him in. Hes like a son to me, and a bit more of a friend to my daughter. We are all he has, and he feels he has a duty to make sure nothing happens to her. You should have seen what he did when Naruto picked her to contain the kyuubi."

"Im sorry his family was killed. I didnt know. I guess I should leave you all alone then" Garun said before standing up. "Tell Mai I said I'll see her around... maybe" He said to Daisuke before turnnig to face the doors leaving the corridor

Chart your own path, hell you`ll even break some rules along the way, but sometimes thats the price to pay for the things you want most. A ninja that doesnt listen to others and follows their dreams is worthy to respect."

"Im not going to run away from him though just because you think Im not capable" Garun said remembering what Daisuke had said before. "And anyway I have a plan. im going to find him and get the ANBU. Then when Im fighting him they can capture him. That way he will be dealt with and Mai wont be forced to get revenge. I know what happened the last time an uchiha swore revenge and I dont want that to happen to Mai" He said to daisuke.

"And it wont happen,"He assured him, "I cant stop you, but at least consider becoming a little stronger before you do. You saw what he did to her, took her out in one hit, and it wasnt even a real attack. Plus he has a few henchmen by the sound of it. Mai was mumbbling about some freaky demon looking dude before you got here. He had somebody with him when they took that other girl."
Daisuke turned back towards the room.
"Im going to take Mai home, ummm stop by if you want.. I bet Mai would like to see you. Dont do anything stupid though."
(Im just going to do this so we can get close to the chuunin exams )

"Fine I will wait till Im a chuunin. And I will come by. Though could you tell Hiroshi that Im sorry. I know he was just doing what he thought was best for Mai. I was just angry about what happened" Garun said to Daisuke. "Oh and give this to Hiroshi" Garun said holding some money out to daisuke. "Its to pay for the ramen."
