I'm interested in one, but the work required to set up an entire new region complete with Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Cites, Towns, Locations, a Team (Rocket, Galactic,etc) and such would be to much for me to do.
However, if you would be willing to do all that work then I will gladly host it here for you, or if you make your own site, join and affiliate with you. If you want a good example of a site like that see Kanoa in the affiliates.

Well I was thinking that I might let members try out for gym leader and elite four positions and such. I`ll probably just make a separate proboards for it. It would make this place an ocean of endless boards XD.

Well, I'd suggest you have moderators play Gym Leaders and such that way there is a constant in the Gym Leaders. It could be a real pain if a Gym Leader had to be removed because the person playing them went inactive, and even bigger pain if no one replaced them.
Like I said, if you want to do it, look at Kanoa for an example. They seem to have a pretty good system going down. Heck, I used them to model the MD RP (the leveling system at least).
And don't worry about making this place an ocean of endless boards. If things ever get really bad I'd remove the RPs not very active in (trust me, I would do so). But yeah, I think a Pokemon Region RP would need it's own separate board.

Yeah that would probably be best. XD Mods are the most dependable anyways.

Probably the normal starters Charmander, Totodile, etc. Maybe a few special ones too.

Well, Kanoa (sorry I keep bringing them up, but they are an awesome example to use) has it were they have Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle as starters all the time, but they also have a group of Pokemon they change every few months (things move kind of slow there) to mix it up a bit. As long as I get Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, or Pikachu, I'm fine  |
