Hangin out with his mate had been good but Garun was ready to go home. He had already said good bye to his friend and he was now just waiting on the waters edge for his dads boat. "Shouldn't be long now" He said to himself while he twirled the water with his finger.
It had been over an hour now and so far no sign of his dad or his boat. "Forget this" He said to himself before getting up and walking back into the air temple. "Ive been coming here 3 years and I still dont know where the kitchen is" He said to himself while his stomach growled with hunger. "Only one thing to do... ANYBODY THERE!!!!!!!" Garun said before shouting the last bit.

Avani by this time had been wandering about the temple again. She saw Garun was sort of lost.
"Exuse me, if your looking for the food.."she stated as she pointed,"Its that way."

Turning his head he saw a girl who he had saw in his tribe. Running over he said " You where i my tribe weren't you" Garun stated before he started going through the people he knew in his head. He had never been good at remembering faces.

"Well ... I`m here because my escort and I needed a place to rest before we continued on to my air bending training."Avani put on a friendly smile as she brushed some of her hair from her face.

Hearing what she just said made Garun feel stupid. The only person who needed to learn air bending in his tribe was the avatar. "I'm so sorry" Garun said to Avani trying to do a bow before falling over. Looking up he said "I had no idea you were the avatar, if i did i would of spoke better". Garun had been brought up to think the avatar being a person of immense power who should be bowed to and helped in anyway possible.

She knelt down, grabbed his arm and helped him up.

"Oh ok thanks" Garun said with a smile getting up with her help. "Sorry about the whole bowing thing... I just was raised to bow though as you saw I aint that good at it either" He said with a laugh. He rubbed his stomach as he was starving and he couldnt wait to chow down on some food.
