Ranking System
In Yu-Gi-Oh GX the Duel Academy is divided into three dorms; Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and Obelisk Blue. We follow the same system, but there isn't any real system to it. It is admittedly based on the agreement of the moderators whether you go up or down the ranking scale. Occassionally an exam or exhibition match may have moving up the scale as a prize.
Below are the different dorms;
Slifer Red:
Slifer Red is the lowest ranked of the three dorms (they say its because Seto Kaiba, founder of Duel Academy, is a little sore at losing to Yugi Mutou who had Slifer the Sky Dragon). The dorm they live in is relatively rundown. This is their uniform
Ra Yellow:
Ra Yellow is the middle ranked dorm. The people here either scored well on the entrance exam, moved up from Slifer Red, or moved down from Obelisk Blue. Their dorm is better off than Slifer Red's but is nowhere near the luxury that is Obelisk Blue's.This is their uniform
Obelisk Blue:
Obelisk Blue is the highest ranked dorm at Duel Academy. Supposedly the best duelists are located here although many people here are well connected or rich. Their dorm is the most luxurious of all three. It should be noted all female students are supposed to be automatically enrolled here as Obelisk Blue is the only dorm that has separate facilities for male and female, although lately they've begun to be let into the lower dorms. This is their uniform
No matter your rank, however, you have to use this duel disk model unless you have gotten approval in the custom applications thread.
