Clan Name: Hentaro
Clan Description: Its members have a tendency to be tall and thin, much like the weeds they grow. Eye colors tend to be green or brown, although the occasional blue has been known to appear. There is no static personality amongst the clan, although most members do have a tendency to be considerate and philosophical. The clan as a whole tends to lack ambition, happy to fill whatever role is required of them. Hentaro clan members also have a tendency to join ANBU.
Clan Village: Hidden Leaf Village
Clan History: The Hentaro clan was founded by Ren Hentaro, a lesser known ANBU member who retired and devoted his whole life to growing a single type of plant that would react well to chakra application. His descendants finally managed to perfect the strain of plant, which, oddly, responded only to application of chakra by Hentaros. The Hentaro weed, as it is known, is extremely sturdy and totally resistant to fire, although it freezes easily. Similarly to the Aburame insects, it can absorb chakra.
Once the plant had been perfected, the Hentaro clan became a major power in the hidden leaf village, its members employed as architects, flower shop attendants and, not least, gardeners. The main clan takes little interest in political affairs, although the ones that join ANBU follow them avidly.
When Hokage Naruto took command of the village, the Hentaro clan flourished. They were granted more fields in which to grow their plants as thanks for their continual support of the village. When Hokage Naruto was murdered, Clan Hentaro was one of the few clans who did not attempt to fill the power vacuum.
Kekkei Genkai: The Hentaro Kekki Genkai is their ability to control the growth of their Hentaro Weed plants through the application of chakra. They can grow them into a structure or have them plant themselves. The more experienced a Hentaro is at using their jutsu, the farther away they can be from the seed of the plant when they make it grow. The leader of the clan, Enne Hentaro, is able to make a seed grow from over a mile away.

In this variation, The Weed grows over the target's limbs and torso, then roots, allowing Volke to control their movements. Removing the plant requires a skilled medical nin with precise control of the Mystical Palm Technique and specialized training.

Description: Volke attaches a Hentaro Weed seed to the target, then activates it, causing it to grow. In this variation, the Weed grows specifically on the target's back, right along their spine and sinks roots into either side, into chakra streams. Then each root siphons off small amounts of chakra each minute and moves it into a bulb at the top of the Weed. This bulb can be eaten by Volke or, if Volke prepares it so it isn't poisonous, another person to recharge chakra.

Description: Volke tosses Hentaro Weed seeds around the target, then activates them, causing them to grow. In this variation, The seeds grow into a large box, forming a prison. The prison suppresses chakra uses, since whenever chakra is utilized the prison can absorb it. They are also absolutely fireproof. However, the Weeds are weak to intense cold, so snow and ice techniques have a higher chance of success. Most weapons are useless, but a very sharp sword can cut through the fibers.

Element: Earth

Description: Similar to the Weed Prison technique, except Volke attaches seeds to his clothing and creates armor out of them. The armor has the same protective properties as the prison. It forms a carapace for Volke's torso and limbs, as well as a helmet to protect Volke's head. Hand Sign: All fingers are crossed, forming a circular shape.

Description: Volke places Hentaro Weed seeds around an enemy, either before a battle or during it. Once they're there, Volke causes them to grow slightly, then bloom. The blooms release fumes that, when inhaled, cause the inhaler to see plants and trees everywhere, but nothing else. Oddly, any plants or trees already there will remain visible. This is a flaw in the illusion that can result in a failure of the illusion if one of the already existing plants is disturbed.
