Name: Ivan Petrov
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Dorm Slifer Red
Description: Ivan is tall, and is quite muscular, making him a great all round fitnessman. Has shortish blond hair with friendly looking green eyes, and a little bit of facial hair, but it's only noticably when your close to him. Tries occasionally to get away with wearing his Iron maiden T-shirt and Jeans when Uniform is required
Personality: Ivan is a nice guy, and is pretty sociable, and enjoys meeting different cultures of people. However his views are a little...communist. He believes that everyone should be equal and is absolutely disgusted that people get better living conditions just because they're better at a card game, and has even sent himself on a bit of a mission to try and even things up. He utterly despises arrogent duelists who think that they're socially more sophistated because of their rank in fuel academy
Ivan tries his best at most things that he does, such as fitness and guitar playing, yet, he doesn't take duels seriously much at all. He doesn't mind having a duel, but he dosen't want to make a career out of it. (He didn't actually want to go, but he had to. Reasons explained in history)
History: Ivan never truely wanted to go to duel academy. He only went because his Dad made him. His dad is one of the top 100 duelists in Russia, and wanted his son to follow in his footsteps. His dad introduced Ivan to yugioh at the age of 11, and forced it on him pretty hard. Ivan didn't mind THAT much - he did quite like duelling. His dad offered to send him to duel academy at the age of 12, but Ivan didn't want to - he liked his friends too much. Over the next year, his dad tried to perswade Ivan him more and more. When he was almost 14, he started threatining to remove his TV, his computer and grounded him often. The last straw was when he threatened to remove his guitar, which finally got him to go. His dad wasn't trying to be a bad person, but was desperate for the Petrov family to all become elite duelists.
Before going to Duel academy, Ivan was well respected in his School, getting high marks in every subject and had lots of friends which he all saw regulary. He was also part of a band, Ivan being rytham guitarist, and his friends felt sorry for him when he was just about forced to go to duel academy
His dad helped Ivan make him a deck, and put in a few old cards from the communist Russia days to help him win. AT the test, Ivan had lousy draws, and only got into Slifer red, but is easily one of the best among them. He hasn't been able to get on as well with the others as he did back in St Petersburg, due to language issues and his communist views, but people still quite like him there
