1st Annual Halloween Haunted Party

"DATS, eh? I've seen that place before. I met a scientist that works there. He's a bit strange, but the Doc asked me to work for him." He said, smiling. He ate some more cake. “I’ve been needing a job for a while, so I’ll take him up on his offer.”

Justin apon hearing that stopped eating. "Well what a very small world. We work for Dr. Sutarone right now." Justin said "He was the one who created me using other Digimon data, and sent us to spy on the DATS team." Kokuwamon said finishing his sea food. "I need to see him again soon to get something from him later, he said that he wasn't finished with it though." Justin finished.

((Eh, hating playing catch up))

Richard watched as Justin walked off, glad to be alone with Alexandria. He had started to think the date would bomb before it really began, but things were picking up.

"So then, which part do you want to explore first? The kitchen or the study?"

Over with Ishimaru, he tried to think of what to respond to Garun with. While he didn't really mind Garun being there, he also kind of wanted to be alone with Avani. Of course, that could also make someone think they were together, right? Still, Garun was always around; he never really got a chance to talk to her without someone around.

"Uh, actually Garun, I was hoping to have a few moments with Avani alone. Just some private questions relating to whats coming up, thats all."

Will listened to Darius talk about the mission, and it was making Will want to do one very badly. Or at least try out a lighting attack.

"Well, sounds like fun. Anyways, I'm going to take a look around this place. See you all later." He said before running off.

With Amami's situation, she headed over to the food and picked up two apples. She threw one over to Toshiro, not really sure where to go from there. With that in mind she just mindlessly ate the apple.

Alexandria found herself inching a little closer to Richard as he spoke to her. She acted innocent when she shrugged.
"Whats farthest from the party?"she asked.

Avani was a little more than surprised to hear that Ishimaru wanted a moment alone with her. Then again he just wanted to ask boring questions about the future, probably just questions about airbending and such. Usually he wanted people around so it wasnt so awkward. If she wasnt already seated by the pool she was now, she rolled up the legs of her pants and dipped her feet in the water waiting to see what Garun said.

Toshiro didnt even look up as he caught the apple. He looked it over, turning it over and over in his hand. The rain ninja took a bite and looked up at her.
"What do you know about Mai Uchiha?"

"ok though dont take too long. Its a party and i dont want to be aaway from Avani for too long." Garun said before turnnig round and walking over to the food table where he grabbed an apple. Turnnig slightly he began to speak to some weirdly dressed guy. "Hello" Garun said to the boy. "Hello" Replied Zeke. After a minutes silence the two began to talk about their different skills. Over in the corner garun and hino had began to get bored so they decided to see the place from a different angle. Quickly focusing their chakra they turned and slowly scaled the wall till they were on the ceiling looking down. Grabbing some wire and two kunai Garun through them down with the wire attached and reeled up some apples. "Told ya I could get them" Garun said before Hino handed over a little bit of money. "Fine but I bet you cant get that" Hino replied pointing at a rather small peach. This little game continued for a further 10 minutes.

Toshiro slowly looked up at Garun, and he thought that he was dressed oddly. He chewed and swallowed the bite of apple in his mouth.
"Hello."He said quietly.

[Neo Shenron]

"hello" garun said turning to face Toshiro. "what country are you from. Your definatl not from my water tribe" Garun added as he looked at Toshiro's clothes. Zeke leaned back on his chair so he could see Tohiro "Hello Toshiro". Leni had now walked around the entire place and was pretty bored when she saw Toshiro and Zeke and some guy dressed weirdly. She decided to sneak up on them so he ran at the wall before jumping onto it were she then ran till she was above Toshiro. taking another step so she would land behind him she stopped the flow of chakra to her feet so she dropped and landed behind Toshiro "Hello" She said from behind him.

Ivan, a yugioh duelist walked in innocently, but got a bit of a shock when he saw Darius "Oh, man, I'm seeing pokemon here! I knew that guy put something in my drink" Darius just looked at him rather sadly. "It wasn't always like this..."
"Whoa, a talking pokemon...I thought you guys were like, make-believe or somthing"
"So did I until recently..." Darius continued in his monotonus voice. "You couldn't do me a favour, and try to find a song called 'Panic Attack' by Dream Theater? I'd be great to hear that before I'm whisked back to the pokemon world.

Ivan walked over to Torshiro. "Unusual cloths, mate. Where do you come from?"

((Hey Shells and Neo, just so you know, the people you have just coming to the party don't get anything from the goody-bags.))

Richard, being a relatively oblivious guy, didn't notice Alexandria inching closer. Instead, he was busy trying to gauge which was furthest from the part as requested by her.

"I think the study is. Besides, who goes to a library during a party anyways? I'd assume most people wouldn't."

Ishimaru watched for a moment as Garun walked off before turning his attention back to Avani. He wasn't really sure what to do at this point; he had Garun gone, but now any confidence he had was apparently gone with it. Then again, wasn't the point of this to work on social skills?

"So,um, did I ever thank you all for helping me after I was hit by that lightning attack?"

Over at the buffet, Amami froze for a second when Toshiro asked about Mai Uchiha. She was about to speak to him when all of a sudden a barage of other people came in to speak. With that, she just stood back a little and watched the conversations unfold.

Alexandria grinned and nodded, he brought up a good point. Who would go to a study room at a party. She laughed as she thought about it more, either she was a nerd or she had something else in mind.
"It`ll be a nice change to get out of the huge mob,"she laughed, but she paused, "Hey... have you seen Impmon?"

By this time Avani had pulled her legs out of the water and brought her knees up to her chest as she sat by the pool side. She hugged her legs as she watched Garun leave, then looked back at Ishimaru.
"I should be the one thanking you."

Toshiro wasnt phased by the sudden appearances of his team mates, he knew they would turn up eventually. He stared at Garun.
"Nation? I am from Amegakure no Sato, but now I hail from Konohagakure."Toshiro looked back at Zeke and Leni and greeted them with a nod, "I am actually here with a friend of mine and I`d rather not leave her alone, if you`d still like to chat feel free to come find me later." And with that the rain ninja walked back to Amami, sure he felt bad about leaving his team mates and the weird kid behind, but he had sort of dragged Amami here so he figured he might as well stick by here if she was there.

"Yeah, it's a nice change. Never really liked crowds much. To much pushing and shoving, and it can make you feel a bit like a number if its to much." Richard said, not really meaning for it to end in such a philosophical sounding phrase. It was after Alexandria mentioned it that he noticed Impmon wasn't there.

"No, haven't seen him. The only Digimon I've seen has been Patamon."

Ishimaru didn't expect Avani to be thanking him for anything. He had not done anything, and after being shot he was only a burden.

"Would you mind explaining to me why you should be thanking me?" He asked.

"So then, learn anything interesting about that one kid? I don't think I've seen him around anywhere at the Chuunin Exams. He must be from wherever these other people are." Amami asked as Toshiro returned. It was an honest question; she really was interested in these other people.

"Hmm... thats really scary, Impmon is bound to appear sometime.... probably when we least want him to."Alexandria groaned, her digimon partner was great at ruining special moments, he just found it humorous.

Avani looked at him with oddly hopeful eyes, how couldnt he know what she was thanking him for? Maybe he forgot or something...
"You saved me by distracting that one guy."

That one kid? Which kid was she talking about now? He had kind of last track of the conversation when he was attacked by the kids that wanted to talk with him.
"Which person are we talking about again?"

[Pikachu]

"I think I got an idea." Richard started prodding Patamon, who, after a quick yawn, sleepily asked what the problem was.

"Do you mind going around and trying to find Impmon for us? Or at least keep an eye out for him?"

Patamon nodded, and soon found himself flying and landing on a nearby stairrail, scanning the area for Impmon.

"Well, I think that takes care of things." Richard said with a bit of a laugh.

Over at the pool/lake, Ishimaru seemed a bit more lost at what to do.
"Well, yes, but it ended up with me getting hit by lightning and possibly ruining my legs for life. It might have been more costly than what could have happened. Then again, there isn't much we can do about the past so it may be best to not worry about it."

Amami looked up at the people Toshiro was just talking to.
"I was talking about that one guy who walked up with your teammates. I was wondering if you heard anything interesting. Then again, your chat seemed short..."

Unfortunatly Impmon was no where to be found. Alexandria glanced around awkwardly, it was quiet now and she didnt know what to do or say.
"Umm.. soooo... now what?"she asked, "Once we get to the library what are we going to do?"

Avani felt even worse now knowing this. She looked down at the pool and stared down the water. The avatar couldnt think of anything to say, she just felt horrible...

Toshiro looked back at the Garun that spoke to him earlier.

"Well he asked some stupid questions... like what nation are you from, why are you dressed so oddly... stuff like that. I didnt actually really consider it to be a real conversation actually."Toshiro told her.

"Uh, I don't know? We can just look around I guess. I heard rumors of a secret lab here or something. Or we can talk and get to know each other. Your choice." Richard said, glad to know that Impmon wasn't in the picture at the moment.

Ishimaru could tell he had made Avani upset, but was at a lost at how to help her feel better. He started thinking of what he had seen other people done to comfort others, and eventually concluded that usually a hug seemed to suffice. With that he gave her a bit of a hug from the side, though admittedly an awkward one.

"Oh, thats all? Hmm, I'd suspect people would be a bit creative in asking questions. Then again, I'll admit I'm having trouble coming up with stuff to talk about myself. Never got a chance to do this 'dating' thing so I'm not any good at it."

Amami did want to mention she really didn't plan on being there anyways, but she knew that would probably make Toshiro even more gloomy and depressed than he was now. She didn't enjoy being around downers that much anymore.
