"We could always do both, walking and talking."Alexandria laughed, "A secret lab eh? I wonder what crazy things we`ll find."
Avani was really surprised when he hugged her, it made her blush. That was the most emotion she had ever... EVER seen from him at once, she didnt know what to think of it really.
"Thanks..."she whispered quietly too him with a smile, though she tried to hide her now red face.
Toshiro looked back at Amami and grinned. It was the first real emotion he had probably ever made, aside from crying when he was younger.
"You consider this a date? Heh.. I suck at this sort of thing..."

Leni turned andwatched Toshiro walk of before turning back to face then table. Grabbing an apple she jumped back up to the ceiling so she could walk without bumping into anyone. As she looked around she saw Garun and Hino who invited her into their little game. Zeke went back to watching everyone while Garun shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the wall were he sat down and began making objects out of the water in the air.

"Like I said, it's just a rumor. There might be nothing there but old books for all we know." Richard said as he walked into the library. Just as he thought, there were shelves after shelves of books broken up only by the occasional bust of writers or paintings.
After Avani said thanks Ishimaru let go of her, blushing a little himself. Scratching his head, he had a moment of stumbling thoughts as he tried to think of what to do next. Instead of helping things, he thought he had made it worse by making them both embarrassed. Now he was wishing Garun would come in and interrupt things.
Amami lifted an eyebrow underneath her mask when Toshiro grinned. Apparently something had happened that caused him to not be so depressing.
"Hey, looks like someones finally smiling."

Alexandria began to look over the different books, maybe there would be something interesting to read. She smiled when he spoke, maybe he was right and maybe he was wrong. You would never quiet know for sure.
"Now that we`re here... what do you want to do?"
"Awwww isnt that just special?"Zhang grinned when he saw the two embarrassed kids, he seated him self on the other side of the pool. Avani laughed and asked, "How long have you been there?"
"Hmmm... well lets just say long enough."
Toshiro held onto his little smile for as long as he could. For once he didnt stop smiling either, it was odd to him but he liked this new expression. Much more fun than just a blank stare.
"Yeah, you make me smile."He said, "Dang... that sounded really ... really cheesy..."

"I'll admit that I have absolutely no clue?" Richard said as he leaned against one of the book cases. As he did so he felt a book sticking out into his back, and since it was uncomfortable he pulled it out. Once it was off the shelf, though, the bookcase started moving. Richard stood back near Alexandria, with Patamon on a chair nearby looking curiously.
"Uh, I guess we can go into wherever that leads?"
Over at the pool, Ishimaru was relived to find that Zhang had now interupted their moment.
"I'm going to assume you can't wait to tell Garun, or use it as leverage against us for something?" Ishimaru asked coldly, trying to hide his relief.
Amami rolled her eyes, but didn't let Toshiro know. He seemed like a nice kid, and if she actually gave a care about dating and such he wouldn't be a bad choice. Sadly, she didn't, so she wouldn't be falling for him anytime soon. Still, doesn't mean she has to be a jerk about it.
"Yes, yes it did. But I'm sure there have been cheesier comments one could say."

Alexandria laughed and walked over to him.
"That was lucky, lets go see where it goes."
Zhang thought about it for a moment, he scratched his chin.
"Nahhhh, I`ll let you little love birds have your secret relationship or what ever, just dont let Garun find out.. it`ll break his heart."
Toshiro went back to his blank, depressed looking face. Her comment was really a big let down for him especially since he was really going out on a limb telling her that.
"...yeah... I... i guess."it was almost as if he was completely closed up again.

With that moment of encouragement, Richard started heading down the passageway, telling Patamon to stay behind to keep an eye on things outside. Inside, however, was just a dark passageway. It went on for a few moments before the sounds of bubbling could be heard, followed by their arrival into a lab of some sorts.
"Well, I think we found the lab."
"We aren't lovebirds." Ishimaru said in his usual, cold voice. To make his point he scooted a bit away from Avani. "Avani seemed sad a moment ago, and if my memory serves people feel better with physical contact. I was just trying to help."
"No, don't take it wrong Toshiro. Cheesy quotes seem to come standard with this sort of thing. Don't get to upset about me saying it was cheesy." Amami said, not as coldly as she had done before. She wasn't falling for him, but she could consider him a friend of sorts at least. At least she wasn't going to act like a jerk towards him.

"Really? I cant really see anything... its pretty dark."She said feeling her way around the hall as if she was blind, "Man... I must be blind or something..." Eventually she ran right into him and said Sorry frantically.
"Hehe no need to deny it Ishimaru, Your secret is perfectly safe with me. I know how awkward love is at first... believe me."Zhang chuckled.
Toshiro put his hands in his pockets, but glanced up when he noticed Yamata slinking around.
"Hes just reeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllllll sensitive ... he takes everything the wrong way."Yamata hissed, "Though.. hes pretty scary some times... "

"It's alright. Here, I'll just get out of the way..."Richard said as he got out of the way of the doorway, allowing Alexandria to see the lab. With that Richard picked up a nearby beaker and looked at it, swishing the liquids inside.
"I wonder what was going on here?"
"I'm not denying anything Zhang. I'm just friends with Avani, and thats it." Ishimaru responded to Zhang's accusations.
Amami had to hold back a laugh at the "scary some times" part. So far all she saw of this kid was a depressed,socially-awkward person.
"Doesn't seem scary to me at all. Looks a bit weird, but not scary. Then again, everyone here looks weird so he doesn't seem to be extraordinary."

"Hmm... what do you think is going on here? Why would there be a secret lab in a place like this?"Alex asked him, looked at some test tubes.
Zhang just chuckled to himself as he looked at the still pretty embarrassed Avani. He felt like they were his younger siblings so of course he had to play the part of older brother. He missed being younger, but he felt like since he was growing up he had to act more adult, especially since he had some serious matters to attend to when he got back home.
"Hehe, alright I trust you."He told Ishimaru, raising an eyebrow.
Yamata laughed a little himself and crossed his arms as he circled Toshiro. THe rain ninja was like a statue.
"This kid is probably the only ninja thats ever landed an actual hit on me, hes got some weird skill I tell ya."he told Amami, "Beware of the eyes, beware of the eyes." The ninja laughed wildly as he pranced off like a kid. Toshiro wasnt phased, he was used to being called a freak.

"Well, it's a Halloween party in a mansion. Five bucks says they probably but it here just for the heck of it." Richard said as he placed the beaker back down on the table.
"They're probably monster formulas or something that turn you into a monster. It would fit with the Halloween theme at least."
"Really, are there any normal people at this party?" Amami asked as Yamata ran off, crossing her arms and looking at him walk offed very confused.

Alexandria nodded and lifted a tube, there was an odd substance in it.
"I know its stupid... but it be fun to see what these things do. Its probably just like colored water."
Avani stared at Zhang blankly still a little red in the face.
"Zhang just drop it please?"
Zhang shrugged and nodded.
"So, you kids enjoying the party?"
Toshiro glanced back at Amami, his stone cold face wasnt nearly as friendly as it used to be. He almost looked angry, then again he always looked depressed and angry.
"Nobody is normal."He said as he watched Mai crawling under some tables on her stomach, Hiroshi ran around looking for her, "Mai Uchiha is here as well? Hmm... shes quite the interesting character."
Mai leapt up and slammed her head on the table causing the stuff on it to jump a little. "CRAP!"

"Yeah, it might be, but I'd rather we had a better idea of what was in there before drinking anything. Don't want to die just yet, and if we drunk the wrong thing..." Richard said, looking around the rest of the lab. It seemed like your average mad scientist lab with beakers,bunsen burners, weird looking glass containers. Hopefully there was a database somewhere.
Ishimaru was glad that Avani finally spoke up and asked Zhang to drop it. They were both embarrassed; there was no need to make it worse.
"Uh, it seems fine. Not my personal preference, but it's not bad."
Amami just shrugged off his angry look. "I meant it figuratively. Everybody has their quirks, but theres a difference between being very shy like you and people like Yamata prancing around calling people freaks and talking with very elongated sentences."

Alexandria laughed again, she was just so ready to see what happens if they drank the liquids. Of course she would hold off on it... for now.
"Wrong thing?"she asked, nothing really crossed her mind what could happen if they got a little drunk.
"I agree, its a little .... crazy. Too many people."Avani told them, Zhang nodded.
Toshiro shrugged, he wasnt angry it was just how he looked.
"Heheh, thats him alright."

Hino, Leni and Garun were having a good time trying to grab different things with their little contraption though they had to keep throwing the food back so they didnt run out of things to grab. They had also talked alot about their ninja teams and the chuunin exams.
Zeke had gotten bored of doing nothing so he walked out to the pool where he took all his clothes off apart from his underwear. lets see how I do against the pool water He thought before he began concentrating chakra to his feet. Good thing the water is calm otherwise this would be hard Zeke thought before steeping onto the water. He managed to take 2 shaky steps before the glow of chakra around his feet faltered. He then fell in. "Good thing I took my clothes off" He said outloud before swimming to the edge and climbing out. He then began shaking his body like a dog to try and dry himself. He didnt care if he looked stupid. he just wanted to be dry.
Hearing a splash Garun(Avatar) got up to go investigate to see if Avani or Ishimaru had fell in. When he got out he saw a boy(Zeke) climb out and then turning his head he saw Zhang talking to Avani and Ishimaru. Running around the pool so he was next to Zhang Garun said "Hi Zhang"
