A world forged and molded from blood and conflict thrives. It's people range from oblivious to scarred, broken, and beaten. However, the world keeps bustling, moving forward, for as humans, that's all its people can do. One country lays wrapped within its own laws of Equivalent Exchange as shadowy manipulators pull the strings in their favor. Amestris thrives noticeably off of the energy of its alchemist's transmutations, but only the trained eye notices the decaying flesh beneath. The state alchemist's credo of "Be thou for the people" is a deeply rooted lie. Those who see the truth are but human. Humans cannot resist the temptation to reach out and grasp what they can't possibly control. This eternal persistence is never changing. Perhaps this eternal factor can cause change in itself...
