Hojo and Akane had both noticed the dissappearance of Mai and Hino, but they both thought it was just more of the stupid fighting. Hojo was starting to think he would not be recommending them for Chuunin Exams, and Akane was worried that they would get attacked while they were gone.

However, once Garun brought it up Hojo felt it was time for them to start searching.

"Alright Garun, I want you to go ahead and search for Mai. Akane and I will be right behind you. Akane, I do apologize for having to drag you into our group's problems, but we can't leave you behind. I hope you do not mind having this detour."

Akane just shook her head before speaking.

"No, its not trouble. I know that as a sensei you have to look out for your team. Besides, that ninja who attacked earlier might have gotten a hold of them so it would be smart to search for them."

"Bah, im not going to argue with you. Get lost, im going back their probably freaking out."Mai told the girl, she looked to Hino, "Come on lets go."

The girlo smiled before giving a quick jump over both Mai and Hino so she landed in their way. "There is no way you are getting past me. You have no rights having that tailed beast inside you. You have no control and apart from that you are only a stupid little girl" The girl said to Mai

"The hokage picked me to be the host of the demon."She said as she used one hand to shove past her. After getting past Izu a bit she turned, "At least Im more mature than you. I`ll tell you what, when I get back from the mission we`ll see if your right. But for now you leave me alone so I dont get yelled at. Okay? Okay good."

Izu just smiled again before saying "Oh I wont wait that long" She then started forming hand signs "Four-legged Jutsu" Izu said before chakra glowed all over her body. Her nails grew longer and sharper aswell as her teeth. Once the change was complete she ran straight in front of Mai in the blink of an eye. "You are not getting past me" She said clearly

"Im giving you one last chance, get out of the way and leave us alone or Ill beat you to a pulp."This girl was really starting to get annoying to her, she had to get back to the team. Why did people always want to fight her? When ever she ran into someone knew they always wanted to fight.

Mai didn't have to worry to much about getting back to her team. The prolonged absence of two of the members had been enough that Hojo had ordered Garun and Akane to follow him as they searched out for them.

"Alright Garun, you are going to have to guard Akane for a little while should a fight breakout. That other ninja may be around so keep an eye out."

And this time I will be ready for him

As he and Akane leaped through the trees he noticed some unusal movements coming from a different direction. That, and the yelling he heard that sounded oh so familiar. His sudden turn caused Akane to skip right by him for a moment before she turned that direction as well.

It didn't take long before he spotted Mai and another shinobi that was most likely from the Inuzuka clan considering she was using one of their techniques. Seeing as she could possibly need some assistance he decided to take the element of surprise for its full value and launch an attack right.

Pushing off of a tree he headed straight towards the girl, hoping that the momentum from the running would provide an extra 'kick' to his kick.

Mai blinked as Hojo flew at the Izuzuka girl. She lifted a finger as if she was going to say something then lowered her hand.

"Or that could happen..."she said blankly, "Thanks for finally showing up Hojo sensei."

She rubbed her head, she had to admit that she was happy that Hojo was there to help out. It was getting a little annoying that so many people wanted to fight her.

Izu just managed to jump out of the way. "So this is your sensei" Izu said to them. "Well how about I finally tell you all who I am as you are all here... I am Izu Inuzuka of the Inuzuka clan. I am here to take all the tailed beasts you have and with the help of my friend we will easily take it from you. On the other hand you could use your beast and kill me though in the process you could also kill your friends as I have noticed some instability in your control when you get really angry" Izu said to Mai. "And Hojo do you think that boy can protect that other girl when I could easily get past the lot of you in a second or two due to my increased speed" Izu said to Hojo.

((OOC she heard Mai call Hojo Hojo sensei))

Garun turned and followed them and then nodded to show Hojo that he had heard and understood him. He then jumped by Akane. "Akane stay right behind me. This girl has really good speed so the closer we stay together then the less chance of getting you she has."

Hino stared at Izu trying to think of a way to stop her.
If I can get her with byakugan and shut off her chakra then it will be childs play getting her though with this speed it will be a challenge to even get near her He thought.

Izu just finished speaking when Sen walked over to her. "you ready boy" She said before leaning onto all fours. "Beast man clone jutsu" She said just as Sen climbed on her back. A puff of smoke covered both of them before clearing to reveal two Izu's. "now you will all pay for not giving up her beast "Izu shouted before grabbing something from her pocket. They both then dashed at Mai. When they got closer they both jumped and spun in the air. While spinning they both through smoke bombs at all the ninjas around. They then both dropped into the smoke. Hino never had much time to act because as soon as they landed in the smoke he got kicked in the stomach before then getting punched out of the smoke and into a tree. He fell to the floor dazed but he started recovering quickly so he could rejoin the fight. Garun on the other hand took a swing in the smoke with his fist but instead of hitting one of them he got grabbed and threw over akane and into a tree branch which knocked the wind out of him. "Looks like Akanes on her own" The two shouted in unison before moving to keep their location hidden.

Mai let out a sigh, but then soon grinned. Her eyes turned red with the coming of the sharingan. If she always knew where Izu was going, it would be a lot harder to hit her. Since both were coming at her, it would obviously make things a bit more complicated. She formed a few handsigns when they were starting to get close.

"Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Both Izu's smiled when they heard the attack. With a couple of simple jutsus she made two clones appear to launch both her and Sen(Who still looked like her) safley over the attack. "Need to be smarter than that" Izu said from somewhere in the smoke. The two clones of Izu had just managed to dodge the fireball and now ran at Akane. The smoke still covering their location kept the attack they were preparing hidden from the others though akane would soon know as she would feel its power in a couple of seconds. The real Izu and Sen now grabbed a couple of Kunai each and began running around the entire group throwing the kunai. Thanks to their increased smell they knew where everyone was.

Mai went for her chakra knives, which she still hadnt quite figured out by this time. She had the basic idea down, but getting the chakra to flow through correctly was a bit of a pain.

"Garun, Hino, since you two arent doing anything stay back and watch Akane got it?"Mai barked at them. The kunai started to come at her, she used her chakra knives to deflect some of the kunai.

"Well well well... this is quite interesting I must say."The voice was deep, and sounded like one they had heard before. Henjin, the bounty hunter sat nearby up in a tree, "Inuzuka, if you dont want to die along with them i`m willing to give you a free pass outta here to go home. These losers are mine to finish off."

During the chaos of the smoke and fighting Hojo and Akane had done their best to try and get out of the thick of it; Hojo to get a better sense of the situation and Akane to protect herself.

Seeing all of his students fighting out there without his help was getting Hojo very tense. The speed of the Inuzuka member and her dog were quite good, but he had one advantage; his training in taijutsu allowed him to match it pretty close. He also could get a good eye on her, though it was no match for the Sharingan or Byakugan's ability to see her.

But first, he had to protect himself from the kunais. Quickly pulling one of his own out he used it to deflect as many as them as possible. He used his vest to protect him from the rest.

Akane's position was much different than Hojos. Not being skilled in weaponry, the onslaught of kunai's were of major concern for her. The sight of the sharp knives caused her to duck into a ball to keep her head and chest safe, but at the same time set off some sort of survival instinct inside her.

The 8-Tailed Habichi knew that his host was in danger, and that her death would mean his own. And so he delved deep into her source of chakra as well as his own to force out a protective measure. As he did so a light-purple colored chakra appeared around Akane, though her eyes were in fear at the time. The chakra seemed to attract the moisture in the air and ground, soon forming a small sphere of rotating water around her. These were able to reflect the kunais for the the most part, but the few that did get through were knocked off course.

Mai turned after she felt a strange change in chakra. Her sharingan eyes glanced at each of the ninja, but when she glanced at Akane it confused her a bit. Akanes chakra was much different from before, Mai couldnt see more than just a faint outline... but her chakra level seemed to be rising.

"Uh oh.."Mai made the connection between Akanes chakra and her technique she had used. The Uchiha knew this might not be good. She hoped that Akane didnt totally flip out and kill everybody.

Out of the smoke came the two Izu's to look at the ninja in the tree. "You think Im gonig to run cause you told me to. Dont be silly. These are mine. Who are you and why do you think you have the right to boss me around" One of them said. Inside the smoke came another Izu but this one was running for Akane. Interesting Chakra She thought as she saw the sphere arounbd Akane. She pulled out a kunai and ran as fast as possible straight at the sphere but as she got close she jumped so she was above it and then dived right at it from above. She then thrust the kunai in front of her so it would stab into the shield Lets see how tough this is
