Ishimaru had been allowed to leave the hospital wing, though admittedly he was forced into what was called a wheelchair. He had never seen one before, but he was told that long ago the son of a Earth Kingdom refugee (the ones that settled in Airbender temples) used one and that it was adapted for medical purposes. The only other major difference with him was that he had bandages around his legs that went partially up his side.
"So then, enjoying the Southern Air Temple Mai and Garun?"

Avani turned to see Ishimaru behind her, she quickly skipped over to him with a big smile on her face.
"Im so glad to see your up and moving!"She said happily, "Yeah, its wonderful here! You still want to teach me air bending? After what coming to get me put you through?"

Ishimaru looked up to Mai with confusion. He hadn't heard anything about him teaching her airbending, but then again it wouldn't have surprised him if the monks had that as their plan all along. They were always trying to get him out and about more often. Still, he wouldn't mind teaching Avani out. Someone needed to knock some sense into her afterall. As for his condition, he was planning on telling them whether not Garun asked. Still, at least he asked.
"No, no, it's fine. It's just some burns on my legs, and a little on my side. Give it some weeks and it should be fine. I can still teach you bending, and on my part I get the benefit of learning how to airbend while handicap. I believe that is a fair deal for all involved."

"Thats good I suppose. I wont be any trouble I promise! When would you want to start?"Avani asked. Yasuo came up behind them and circled Ishimaru`s wheelchair his tail brushing against him. He purred as he rubbed his head on the chair. Avani smiled and said, "yasuo is glad to see your better too."

"May I watch some of the lessons that you teach her in. I am thinknig of trying to incorperate some of the air bending manouvers into my water bending" garun asked Ishimaru

"Yes, I can see that." Ishimaru said as Yasuo rubbed against his chair. Hesitantly he started petting the snow leapord before turning his attention back to his friends.
"Well, I say we start lessons tomorrow? I'm kind of hungry, and admittedly tired. I do not want to stress myself out in this condition. I hope you understand. As for you Garun, I do not mind if you watch the training. Admittedly you won't see me doing much so I don't know how much it'll help you though."

"Thats fine with me."She told him with a smile, yasuo made his way to Avani and rubbed his head against her leg several times. "Do you want me to push your chair to the dining area?"

Ishimaru shook his head no at Avani's offer to push him to the dining area. He really didn't like the idea of being dependent on someone else. He prefered to do things on his own.
"No, I should be capable of taking myself there. Anyways, we'll discuss more about your training at dinner. I guess I should lead you there since this is my home."
With that he began pushing on one wheel until he turned the direction of the dining area, and then began wheeling himself towards it.

Garun walked at a speed equivilant to Ishimaru so they were side by side. "Its good to see that being injured hasnt damaged that warm personality of yours" Garun said jokingly to Ishimaru. "Oh and do you eat anything apart from nuts and all that. I never really ate in the other temple. I brought stuff and ate them in my friends room while he had dinner in their eating hall" Garun asked Ishimaru

Ishimaru ignored Garun's comment about his 'warm personality' and instead went straight onto the question regarding food.
"Theres fruits and bread and other such things. Nuts are just much easier to carry when your travelling. No meat though, so if you'd like to eat that you'd have to have brought your own."

Avani nodded as she listened to Ishimaru tell them about the food. Fruit and bread would work for her.
"Sounds good to me, Ill save the meat for Yasuo so he doesnt eat any of the small animals you have around here."

"I don't think he'd even try. The only small animals we have around here are some descendants of flying lemurs, and they like to hang out with the flying bisons. And I doubt Yasuo would want to fight a flying bison." Ishimaru said as he rolled himself into the dining hall.
It didn't take long for him to get his food, but finding a place to site was hard with the wheelchair. A spot was found, however, near the end of a table where the chair could fit.
