Once everyone was on board and secure, Suppo took off. They had to navigate through some thick clouding before they finally got to a clear and open space, allowing Ishimaru to talk instead of concentrating on where they were going.
"The monks want me to help you with your airbending training, so I will not leave you till I believe that you are a fully capable airbender. Besides, I believe that you won't want to walk all the way to Omashu, would you?"

Avani laughed, she definitely did not want to walk the rest of the way there. Suppo made traveling so much easier, Yasuo did on occasion he was large enough to ride on, but most of the time he was asleep and wasnt very helpful. Even though his response did answer the question it wasnt quite the answer she had been hoping for. Avani was kind of hoping that Ishimaru would stick around as a friend and not just a teacher, Zhang was leaving once they got to Omashu so she would be left alone with an earth bending teacher. It almost made her want to take her time on learning air bending, but she couldnt think of herself when the world was on the verge or war.
"Yeah... " she replied as she stopped her laughing, Avani saw Zhang glance over at them and he had a very suspicious look on his face.

Ishimaru failed to notice Avani's disappointment, and instead returned to focus on getting Suppo to turn towards the Earth Kingdoms. With her injuries he didn't expect her to be as agile as she was before, at least till they healed. It was also because of those he wasn't sure it would be a good idea to fly every step of the way. They would probably stop in the first town they met on the way to the Earth Kingdoms, and then just keep heading for the next town till they reached Omashu. Hopefully he would have his injuries healed by that point as well.

Avani sighed as she watched the clouds roll by, no wonder the air nomads loved living at such high heights. She leaned over the saddle a little more so she could try and see over the giant bisons head, she still felt guilty for all of the injuries Ishimaru and Suppo got from saving her, Avani would just have to prove that she was worth their time.
Zhang twisted his upper body and popped his back a little bit, it felt good to him. The swift snap sounded as he turned back to his normal position. Yasuo`s head shot up like a bullet when he heard the noise, he hissed at the fire bender for disturbing his twenty hours of sleep.

Ishimaru heard the back-cracking, and turned around to notice that Yasuo was awake. He turned back to the front, noticing Avani leaning forward.
"I suggest you don't do that. We wouldn't want you to fall off. By the way, is Yasuo always so lazy, or is just because he has the chance to be?"

Avani leaned back in her original spot, she looked back at Yasuo who let out a loud yawn.
"He is usually very active, but I told him to be less of a hunter while we were at the air temple." She replied, "I didnt want him attacking the lemurs and eating them, that wouldnt have been very wonderful to watch. It wouldnt have bothered me so much though, most of the children in the water tribe help their mothers skin and prepare the animals for meals, so a little bit of blood has never bother me. The air benders are so peaceful, so I didnt want to break that peace by bringing my little kitty along."

"You'd be surprised at how intelligent the lemurs are. I'm sure they would have given your cat a tough fight. But thank you for at least considering our beliefs when instructing Yasuo. However, I suggest you let him know he can be hunter should someone try and attack us." He said, though he mentally winced when he realized that the statement could bring back some painful memories. He forced himself to not look at his leg for the same reason.

"He knows when and when not to let his natural fighting instincts take over, Yasuo is very very protective over me so if he feels as if we`re in danger he wont be very soft and cuddly like he normally is." Avani told him with a smile, "Yasuo is a very sly cat, im sure he`d give your little lemurs a run for their money."
When the leopard kept hearing his name mentioned he wiggled forward a bit, purring all of the way. The cats large bushy tail wrapped around himself as he curled up next to Avani.

"Well, you should be glad to have such a pet then. Of course, I believe Suppo here takes the prize. Massive size for combat, ability to fly for transportation, and a relatively sweet personality...and why are we arguing who has the best pet anyway?" Ishimaru said, realizing the complete and random conversation he had begun to enter into. It was a bit abnormal for him to do such a thing, but then again he was 'defending' the Air Bender's culture, or at least their animals.
"Anyway, how did you get Yasuo anyway? I'm not an expert in animals, but I would think it very hard to tame and befriend something like him, no offense to Yasuo."

"I didnt think we were really arguing, just comparing carnivores and herbivores." Avani replied, glad that she had gotten to some sort of conversation. She never had meant to offend Ishimaru and the air nomads various animals, she had only implied that she thought a big cat could snag a lemur.
"I found him when he was a tiny little cub, actually he found me. I wandered off one day and I got very very lost. There was a huge snow storm and I found a cave, luckily for me almost every animal seems to like me so Yasuo`s mother didnt kill me. I was there for a few days, the snow leopard left to go hunt and never came back. When the storm cleared I took him with me, turns out some hunters from my village killed her for her fur."

"Well, I guess I should be glad that Yasuo has chosen to reject getting revenge on the hunters and instead befriend you. Maybe Yasuo was an airbender in a past life." He said in a half-hearted joke attempt.
He was serious though. Revenge was a nasty thing, and it always just led to more revenge. The current world situation was a prime example of it. Earth Kingdom wanted revenge on the Fire Nation for the war many years ago, and the Fire Nation wanted revenge for the treaty that had ended the war. It was a sad thing to see, and he had some respect to Avatar Aang for keeping the peace for so long. But now it was in Avani's hands, and indirectly his since he was her airbender teacher.

"Y-Yeah, maybe he was. He is a very peaceful, only kills when he has to. But hes gotten so lazy lately, so my father and the rest of the men in the tribe hunt with the wolves."
Avani sat quietly, wishing that she was an airbender. She was an airbender, but she wished that she was a full airbender. They had so much freedom, they were so peaceful, and were probably some of the nicest people around. Ishimaru wasnt exactly the prime example for the airbenders, he was so different from the other nomads, but Avani knew deep down he was just waiting to break out of his shell. He nearly died protecting her, she felt so worthless during that fight. All she could do was run, she shouldnt have just left him. Avani knew what she had to do, hopefully who ever this earthbending teacher was, if they found one, would toughen her up. She didnt want to be a softy anymore, if she wanted to beat this war then she couldnt just be nice anymore. Avani would just have to show a little aggression.
"Yasuo was so tiny, he probably cant even remember. Probably all of his memories are based off his natural instinct."

"I guess you spoil him to much then." Ishimaru replied when Avani mentioned that Yasuo had gotten lazy lately.
"Then again, he might be getting a lot of walking soon. I'm a bit afraid to fly Suppo over the Earth Kingdom for long periods of time since last time we got shot down, and she was injured."
((Alright, whenever you're ready we'll land and start off the travel to Omashu Arc.))

"Thats fine with me." Avani replied with a nod of her head, she looked over at Yasuo. "He needs a little bit of walking time, I could use some too."
Zhang looked up at them and raised an eyebrow, he couldnt hear what they were talking about but he knew that they would probably be landing soon.
