Restocking Supplies and Rest

Magnus parried Jonathans attack with his own cutlass, and then used his falcon eyes to get a good look at the battlefield. One recruit had ran into a building, and the rest of them were incapacitated.

"Well, apparently your not doing that good of a job as captain. Your little grunts here are pathetic."

Magnus didn't attack back and was just taunting the marine, believing that if he angered him enough then he would act rash and make a mistake.

[Michael]

Jonathan smiled. "Well they are only Privates. They were the only ones available at the time." Jonathan twirled his cutlass a couple of times. "Ha Ha. Your lucky the Sargent's weren't available."

Jonathan then went into a defensive stance. He was waiting for Magnus to make the first move.

[Razum]

Sanji took his time walking through the building. Only one of the grunts left, and the pirate is fighting the leader. Sanji took a long breath of his cigarett while putting his hands in his pockets. I'm a little unhappy that I got hit 3 times though. Finding the stairs, Sanji began walking up them, thinking of the best way to do this.

He's probably figured out that I'm on my way... I suppose another distraction is the best way to deal with him. As he approched the doorway at the top, Sanji took off his jacket, and quickly tossed it into the room. After a couple of seconds pause he dashed in behind it, And jumped towards the table barricade, aiming at the marine hiding behind it. "Mouton Shot!"

-Mouton Shot: One of Sanji's strongest single kicks, and a common finishing move. He starts by jumping or flipping into the air and then channels all his might into one leg to deliver a kick to the opponent's mid-section, or sometimes their head, that sends them flying.

The marine became incapacitated from the kick. The flint lock flew out of his hand and out the window. It landed near Magnus. Jonathan glanced at the gun, then directed his attention back to Magnus.

Aww crap... their went the last recrute...

Magnus looked down at flintlock, and then back at the marine. If it wasn't for the fact that his mouth was a beak, he would have smiled.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" He said, picking up the flintlock with his feet/talons

"I believe this is yours. But, as true gentlemen, we don't need such fancy equipment."

With that, Magnus flew up into the air, and swung the flintlock towards the ocean. With that out of the way, Magnus turned around and made a nose dive towards Jonathan.

Jonathan watched as Magnus threw his other flint lock into the ocean.

Oh well... I can always make another one back on the Sherman. Which reminds me, I need to see if that new bullet design works properly.

Then Jonathan saw Magnus dove towards him. He waited for the last minute and then jumped out of the way and let Magnus crash into the ground. Whether Magnus crashed or not Jonathan pulled out his other flint lock and fired at Magnus's head.

One of the best parts about being a falcon-human hybrid was the ability to stop yourself from crashing into the ground by swooping up. Avoiding shots to the head,however, was a bit harder to manage. While it didn't hit his head persay, the bullet did take a chip off of his beak.

Magnus unleashed quite the screech from the pain.He landed on the ground behind Jonathan and attempted to give him a kick in the back. Sure, that chef would probably be able to do something like that better than Magnus, but there was no time to pull out his sword.

[Razum]

Sanji picked up his coat and put it back on, glancing at the knocked out marine in the corner of the room. Looks like I may be considered a pirate after this is done. Can't say I was expecting to become a pirate before joining a crew. Grinning slightly Sanji walked up to the window taking a seat. From there he had a good view of the fight below him, just in time to see Magnus get a chip in his beak.

"Oi, oi, still not finished? I suppose I could join in if you need help, but that doesn't seem like something a pirate captain should need." Sanji said with a grin plastered on his face. He had no intention of jumping in on someone elses fight, but he was a bit interested in the responce.

[Michael]

Jonathan was kicked in the upper back and dropped to his knees. At this point Jonathan about snapped. "I already was kicked several times by the other pirate, and I'm not going to put up with being kicked by you!" He shouted, wile jumping backwards with his cutlass. It was a lunge attack strait at Magnuses neck. Followed up with his flint lock pointed at his head and firing.

Unlike most of the marine's attacks, Magnus was able to dodge this one much easier.Using his wings to propell himself, he quickly made his way backwards from the lunge, and a simple duck avoided the headshot. With a little bit of breathing room, Magnus pulled out his cutlass to finish this fight with a thrust towards the left side of Jonathan's ribcage.

[[OOC:Hey Michael, I want to point a few things out.First,flint weaponry takes a few seconds to reload and reset to fire, so please mention reloading in your posts. Second, how much ammo do you have?I wouldn't expect a flintlock pistol to be able to fire this long without reloading. Your picture/avatar of flintlock pistols shows them with two barrels each, so after every two shots they would have to be reloaded.Third, stop with the dang headshots.They are rarely going to hit since its hard to get one even today, and with flintlock pistols in the midst of battle, I would suspect almost impossible]]

(OOC: I know this is a bit of lame reason, but I can't think of a single time in One Piece where reloading was needed... Marines fire those kinds of pistols over and over and over.)

As Magnus trusted, Jonathan moved out of the way, to the right, of the thrust. Jonathan quickly put away his pistol, after realizing that the gun is use less effective in hand to hand combat. As Jonathan began his next attack he realized that the pirate really didn’t know why Jonathan was after him in the first place. (After he remembered what Magnus said at the begining of the fight. About how did he get into trubble in the first place.) Jonathan did a vertical slash at Magnus's hand, the hand with the cutlass. As he was attacking Jonathan said "I bet you don't even know why you are wanted do you?"

Magnus blocked the slash with his sword, broadside up. He made sure to keep the swords locked so he could talk without getting distracted with talking and end up loosing a leg or something.

"No, not really. However, I'm starting to think you might have something against me.For what, I don't know? Got something against falcons, or maybe Devil Fruit Users, or pirates since your a marine.Or maybe your just a big jerk.Let me know if I'm getting close."

[Michael]

Jonathan couldn’t help but laugh. "Your ignorance has no bounds... Even an idiot would know this." He paused a moment to push harder against Magnus's lock. "First of all, you meddled in marine affairs, not a smart thing to do. Second, you assaulted an officer, a very serious crime. Thirdly a personal violation, you put a close friend in the brig and had him ejected out of the MARINE RANKS!!!!" He shouted as he pushed hard enough to break the lock. Right as the lock broke Jonathan twirled around with the momentum from the break and slashed hard at Magnus’s chest.

Bringing his sword up to reflect the marine's blows, Magnus continued on with his talking.

"Meddling in marine affairs?I've done nothing of the sort.And assualting an officer?You started the fight by firing at me*. As for your third violation, I never sent anyone to the brig.I haven't done any crimes yet. I just started my little pirate journey. By the way it seems,sir, you've lost your mind."

*Trust me, I checked.
