"I know but i dont wanna take the easy route" Garun said to her. "Thanks for the advice. and I mean thansk to both of you" Garun said. "I just wish I could learn this jutsu the proper way instead of the easier way" garun said before continueing to try it the proper way. The spark was now getting bigger but it still wasnt big enough to ignite the powder.

"Sometimes its better to start out easy then move up."She said, "Look at me, It took me all day to get this jutsu of mine down. And im still not finished."
Mai uncrossed her tired arms and held out the palm of her hand. She did the hand seals and the sparks began to fly from her hand.
"Everything takes time."

"Which is why I am doing it the proper way. If it takes me days to do this the proper way then it will as I plan on having this down by then" garun said as he continued to practice. This time he only got a tiny bit of ash in his mouth and tried it. He was unsuccessful the first couple of times. He then mamaged to make the spark again which was bigger than the tiny amount of ash he had used so this one went boom though it was a tiny explosion so it would be useless in combat.
"Right i just need to get it to ignite the bigger amounts" garun said as he increased the amount to slightly bigger than the spark he made. He then tried again but it only sparked and never ignited the ash. Never the less he kept trying and he wouldnt give up till he had this down. Getting annoyed he quickly shot a fireball justu at the ash on the floor which had now made a little pile so it was only thanks to his quick thinknig to jump back did he avoid the explosion. "Oops sorry" He said to mai and daisuke as he began practising again.

"Thats alright."Daisuke chuckled. Mai looked like a zombie and hardly noticed.
"Mai, why dont you head home?"her father suggested, "Get some sleep and meet me out here in the morning to train some more, kay kiddo?"
"Mmhmm.."Mai mumbbled as she walked home.

"See ya" garun shouted to her before continuing with his training. So far he had managed to ignite an amount smaller than a spoon of sugar. I can do this if I try harder Garun thought to himself as he tried again and again. "I must be getting close now. I can ignite it but only small amounts so I will prove myself by the end of the day. I mean Mai is learning a very strong jutsu and she nearly has it done and yet i cant even learn an easy one" Garun said slightly down but nevertheless he tried again

Daisuke yawned once his daughter was out of site. He hadnt done much but he was still pretty tired from standing around and doing nothing all day.
"Why dont we call it a day Garun? Meet up here tomorrow morning with Mai and I?"

"Well i wanted to try and get this done but I suppose if you are tired then I will call it a day" Garun said before walking over and holding the pouch out to Daisuke. "how close was I too getting it anyway" He asked him.

Day Two -
Mai woke up bright and early and headed out to the training fields. She decided that she would wait for her father and Garun to come before starting up her chidori training again. This had to be the day, she knew she was so close to completing it.

Garun bearly slept all last night because he was trying to think of what went wrong. He arrived a little bit after Mai looking slightly groggy due to lack of sleep but apart from that he looked fine. "Morning Mai" garun said after a yawn. "Wheres your dad. We need him so we can master our jutsus"

"I thought you kids were never going to come." Daisuke chuckled as he dropped down from a near by tree, "Continue with what you were doing yesterday. Mai your just about there, Garun you`ve got a little more work to do, but you just about there."
Mai nodded and got back into position, she grabbed her wrist with her left hand and focused her chakra to her hand. At first she didnt get much since she had to remember everything. Soon she was back on track.

Garun grabbed a bag from around his waste and showed it to Daisuke to show he had brought his own today. He then began practising the jutsu. He was still getting the spark and he was pushing himself to actually get it to ignite the entire of the ash

Mai charged right at the tree and thrust her hand forward, this time her hand didnt get stuck. The tree was badly mangled, but there wasnt nearly as much damage as her father had done the day before. She let out a sigh as she readied herself to try it again.
Daisuke watched Garun out of the corner of his eye and nodded.

((Dont forget the whole out of thirty thing otherwise I have no idea where i am lol))
Garun had now managed to slightly light a handful but it kept going out. Neverthe less he didnt give up and kept trying. His mouth tasted terribly and his teeth were sore from cracking them but he ignored all that to try and succed in this jutsu.
