"Hmm, I guess, that might work. Then, while you're distracting everyone, Daisuke and me can take them out. So then, let's get moving so we can get this mission done in time to get some ramen afterwards." Hojo replied as he moved to grab Mai. He lifted her carefully and slung her over his shoulder.
"Now then, for this to work you're going to have to act as if you're unconscious, alright?" Hojo whispered as he started to make his way into the cave, and the heart of the enemy territory.
The caves had the occasional torch that provided light, though each of them had some strange symbol on it. It was a circle with an upside down triangle inside it. Most likely it was some symbol related to the cult, so there was no need to worry about it at the moment. For now they had to find the leader of the cult. But he wasn't seeing anyone else at the moment, which had him a bit concerned. Had they been alerted to their status as ninja?

Mai nodded her head one last time before she let herself relax, so she looked almost dead. Daisuke glanced at her to make sure that she was okay, and once he saw she was Daisuke began to head forward.
"Just dont throw me off suddenly." Mai grumbled quietly a they went towards the cave. Once they were in the caves Daisuke relaxed himself so they didnt seem like they were fakes. But he didnt say anything, it just seemed so dead.

Hojo froze when he heard blood-curling screams coming up from ahead. His shinobi reflexes made him want to run and see what was happening, but knowing this cult, it was probably normal behavior. Still, he jerked a little and almost dropped Mai. He quickly fixed her up and apologized.
"Daisuke, that scream has me worried that there is more to this cult than meets the eye. Keep your eyes open, but don't waste chakra on the Sharingan just yet." Hojo ordered as he started making his way forward.
It didn't take long before they reached the source of the screams, and Hojo almost lost his breakfast. They were in the middle of a large chamber, and in the center of the place was that symbol. However, it was a dark red color and looked liquid, probably blood. But what concerned Hojo was the fact that in the middle of it was a giant pike, with a man on it. He was bleeding buckets of blood, and from the looks of it, he was dead.
"My, my, apparently Jashin has decided you are not worthy of serving him. But in death, you glorify him. Remove his body and prepare it for ritual sacrifice." A woman said. Hojo looked over at her, noticing her outfit was different. Unlike the others, her skin was normal. She wore a blackened corset that ended at her chest, which had a Jashin symbol painted on it. It was attached to a long, black dress as well as two long sleeves. To put it simple, everything but the top of her chest was covered on her body. Hojo figured there must have been some symbolism in leaving her heart wide open to attacks.
There were two male members who tooke the body off of the pike and then left, leaving her and the team in the chambers.
"What do you two have there? Another victim to sacrifice for Jashin?"
She walked over to Mai's head and lifted it, getting a good look at the headband.
"So, this girl is a shinobi from the Leaf Village. Yes, she will serves as an excellent gift for Jashin. You have done well to bring her to us."

Hearing the screams and cries of the sacrifice, it made both of the Uchiha siblings very very tense especially Mai. She had never seen or heard anybody die before, something close maybe ... but never something like this. Mai shut her eyes tightly and tried to get the image out of her head, but deep in her conscience she heard something laughing. Daisuke looked over at his sister to make sure that she was okay, she seemed fine so he resumed his blank face look.
Once they were inside of the room Daisuke looked over everything in the cave, but his eyes couldnt leave the blood stains. How could these people be so sick, especially for a god that didnt exist. Daisuke believed in the Will of Fire, as did most Konoha shinobi.
When the women touched her, her eyes shot open. Mai quickly did a black flip off of Hojo`s shoulder and brought her heel down hard on the back of the women`s head. Daisuke wasted no time and quickly returned to his normal form, he charged his chakra to his light forearm and activated his sharingan. As soon as he did that he charged the nearest cultist, aiming for their heart.

Well, looks like this party is getting started real quick. Hojo thought as Mai backflipped off of him and straight into the Jashin women. Apparently his taijutsu lessons were paying off, and he couldn't help but feel proud. But he'd worry about that later, as right now he had to help Daisuke take this woman down. Like the Uchiha, he quickly powered off his transformation jutsu, and then charged up a Dynamic Punch. He timed it so that when Daisuke's Chidori hit her, he'd hit her as well.
Obviously, the woman wasn't expecting this, and the combined attacks sent her flying and crashing to the ground. Hojo helped Mai off of the ground, and then stood up. He kept an eye on her, as this had just been way to easy for them. He kept his muscles tense and ready to go. Then, she started to laugh.
"Well, it looks as if the Hidden Leaf has finally decided to come out and play, and sent three ninja to battle. Oh, Jashin will be so pleased when I kill the three of you."
Hojo gulped a little, shocked that the woman could have survived the attack. He would have made a smart remark to Daisuke about his earlier comment about women if this hadn't been so unbelievable.
"What, you didn't expect me to survive that, did you? Then apparently you haven't been well versed in the jutsu of Jashin. As one of his most loyal servants, he has blessed me with immortality. I can not die, a luxury that you do not have."

Daisuke was shocked, he had got the women right where her heart should have been. He yanked his hand back and rejoined his sister. The older Uchiha could already feel that he was running pretty low on chakra, a little more than half of it was left. Luckily Mai was basically a big body of chakra, so if worst came to worst they could depend on her to get the job done.
Mai gripped her knuckle knives tightly, if this freak was an immortal how could they kill her? Everything had a weakness, so there just had to be some kind of weakness of hers.
"Nobody is immortal. No person on this planet could kill me, not even Ishimaru." Mai stepped in front of her brother, but Daisuke quickly pulled her back behind him. He really wished that he hadnt brought her along, if she got hurt or killed ...
Daisuke didnt hesitate to attack her again, it was true he had no idea what these immortality jutsu were, but he had to find some kind of weakness. He quickly weaved a string of hand signs, then a large jet of flames erupted from his mouth like a dragon.

As Daisuke prepared his flame jutsu, the woman pulled out a kunai knife and stabbed herself. There was a look of pleasure on her face, which disgusted Hojo. What kind of people could find enjoyment in pain? She quickly performed some handsigns, and soon a red mist of sort appeared around her. As the flames it, only a small bit got past and hit here while most of it went around her.
"As you can see, Jashin protects me from blasphemous heathens like yourselves."
The women took some more of her blood, and created some sort of seal on a tag. She then charged Daisuke, but Hojo quickly stepped in to stop it. The tag was placed on his body, and suddenly he felt like he could barely move. He could move, but the speed would have made his taijutsu useless.
"And he also restrains those who dare oppose his follows. Now then, let's take care of this man first, and then move on to you two."
With her kunai knife, she lunged at the immobilzed Hojo.

"Dont worry Hojo sensei, I`ll take care of her." Mai told him.
Mai looked at Hojo, why couldnt he move as fast as he used to? It confused her, but she didnt take another moment to quickly go into protect him. She lunged infront of the cultist women and brought her hand back to her hip, then threw her explosive punch right at her. Hopefully it would push the women back enough so they could think of something else to do.
Daisuke could only watch as he tried to make sense of all of this. This whole mission was going down the wrong path and fast. In the beginning it seemed like it was going to be so easy, but now they had to fight an immortal. He could hardly remember the story that Mai had told him about after she got into the argument with Shikaniku. That had some valuable information that they could use against the women.
"Mai, I want you to get Hojo out of here right now. I`ll hold her off."

The punch sent her back, though she did remain standing upright. Hojo still felt as if he had a ton of weight on him, and eventually deduced the seal she had put on him had done it. Mai provided the time for him to reach up and get it. It was times like this he was glad for his taijutsu training, because other wise he might not have had the strength to get rid of it.
Suddenly, he felt much lighter, and knew that he could probably start to into the fight. As the woman stood up again, she was met with a face full of feet as Hojo came flying in with a Dynamic Entry. She was sent into the cave wall, but by the time Hojo returned to Daisuke's positon, she was standing up again.
"This is indeed a glorious fight, and Jashin will be pleased to receive your dead bodies."
The woman rushed at them, but headed towards the circle to grab the pike. She yanked it out of the ground, and then used it's pole-like shape to launch into the air towards Daisuke, intending to stab at him from above.

Mai quickly reacted to the pike that was sent at her seemingly frozen brother. He must have been thinking of something to do. The younger Uchiha threw a kunai as fast as she could to knock the pike out of balance. Daisuke quickly moved out of the way, none of his jutsu would work so he was pretty stuck by this point. He went to a large pouch he carried and got out two windmill shuriken. However he hid the second one behind the first so the women wouldnt see it.
Daisuke hurled the shuriken at the women, hoping that he would slice something off. Maybe if she couldnt use her body parts she couldnt keep up the immortality jutsu. His face quickly turned angry, this lady was really starting to make him angry.

As the pike missed Daisuke, it stuck into the ground. The woman swung her body, which caused her to swing around the pole once before landing on her feet. She pulled it out, and quickly placed it in front of her to block the incoming shuriken. It was easy enough to do, as they were large targets, and she had been using the thing for years.
"I'll admit, this has been the most fun I've had in years. Haven't had a fight this fun since I killed those Hidden Cloud shinobi several years ago as my induction into the priesthood of Jashin. You shall be my crowing sacrifices." She replied before charging at Daisuke. Instead of just trying to pierce him, however, she swung around the a bit so the bottom went towards him, which was sharp enough it could be used as a makeshift blade.
Hojo would intervene, but Daisuke and Mai were in the thick of it, and it would just me a much larger risk at the moment if he got in. He'd wait for Daisuke to get away a little before coming in.

Daisuke turned to check up on Mai and didnt notice the sharp object coming right at him. He didnt have enough time, so the best he could do was put his hands up in defense. The sharp edge sliced open his hand, then he quickly got away. Mai quickly got behind the crazy women and began to slash her long chakra blades at the women. Ninjutsu wouldnt work, taijutsu only stopped her for a moment, genjutsu would probably not do too much... what would work?

Hojo did not like the look on the woman's face when she got some of Daisuke's blood on her.
"Daisuke, I think you might want to get out of here." He yelled out as he joined Mai in trying to beat her to a pulp. But the pike proved to be useful yet again, as she used it to propel herself in the air like a pole vaulter. She then turned it around, and began to lick the blood at the end.
"My Daisuke, you have some wonderful tasting blood. Jashin will enjoy you very much." She said as her skin started to blacken, a skeleton design appearing on her. With all the blood that was oozing off of her by this point, she had gotten a nice pool of it below her. She took her feet, stepped back, and began to draw the circle and triangle symbol.
"What is it with you guys and that symbol?" Hojo replied, only receiving a laugh.
"It is Jashin's holy symbol, a sign of his power. And now that I have estabished a connection between me and Daisuke, his life will end."
Pulling out the pike, she stabbed herself in the foot, screaming in pain and ecstasy as she did so. She then pulled it out, and stabbed herself in the other foot. This would prevent Daisuke from moving, and time to enjoy his own screams of agony.

Daisuke watched as she stabbed herself in the foot, he felt a searing pain in his own fight right after that. He cringed, but didnt allow that to stop him for too long. Blood stained his blue sandal.
"Mai, Hojo ... get out of here now. She can have me."
"Absolutely not, I`m not leaving here without you Daisuke. I dont care what it takes, I`ll kill her."
Mai glared at the women, the whiskers on her cheeks became very feral looking. She didnt like the looks of this at all. If she wanted to take Daisuke home after this she had to figure everything out and quick. There had to be some connection between Daisuke and the women. She could only hurt Daisuke once she was inside of the circle and after she tasted his blood.
"I think we have to get her out of that circle Hojo sensei." Mai quickly charged at her, she wanted to slice her head off but if she did any damage to the women while she was in the circle... Daisuke might suffer too.

"It's over little girl. Say good bye to him." The woman said as she saw Mai began to become more feral and started to charge. Seeing as there was no time to waste, she took the pike and stabbed herself through the heart. She fell down some, but the look of joy on her face showed that she wasn't dead. Still, Hojo's heart sunk once he realized that the woman had just killed Daisuke.
That was going to be bad. Mai was already enraged, and with Daisuke dead, she'd be even more angered. The fox's chakra would leak out for sure. The woman had no idea what she had just done, though on the bright side, she was about to get her butt kicked. Still, the cost was muc higher than he though. He ran over to Daisuke to see if there was anything he could do to help, even if it was just to provide some comfort before he died.
