Daisuke felt the pain radiate through his body as the pike pierced the women`s heart. But a numbing sensation come over him soon after that, his body was fighting the intense pain. He knew that he wouldnt last much longer though, Daisuke gasped but ended up hacking up a lot of blood. It spattered on his face, staining his tears. He didnt speak, nor try to then, Daisuke was saving his last words for his sister. His eyes still had the sharingan in them, he wanted to die so that everybody would know he was an Uchiha.
"... M-Mmmmaiii?" He whispered, faintly. Mai turned to see her fallen brother and rushed over to him. She grabbed Daisuke and hugged him, getting blood all over her clothes. Tears blurred her own vision.
"Hojo! P-Please get Daisuke out of here! If we dont waste any time maybe... m-maybe he can be saved." Mai choked on her own words, Daisuke coughed again. She released her grip on Daisuke and looked at the blood on her face and coat. Mai`s blood ran cold, thats when it really hit her. Daisuke was going to die, and along with it another part of the Uchiha clan. Her promise was broken into a thousand sharp pieces that pierced her own heart. For a moment Mai felt really weak and faint, like it was her time to die too. Daisuke slowly lifted his hand and lifted her chin.
"Ne...vvvver ch-hhange who... you... are." Daisuke had to select his last words carefully. He had to say something that would effect her forever, no matter how dorky or cliche it might of sounded. The Uchiha never wanted to see his sister turn into something she wasnt.
"I-I wont.... Daisuke..." She promised, but this was a promise she planned on keeping. Daisuke signaled for her to come closer while he whispered a couple of other words into her ear. Mai nodded her head.
Her eyes quickly deactivated the sharingan, but replaced it with another set of red slitted eyes. All of Mai`s fingernails lengthened and sharpened, she pounded her fists on the ground. She still didnt know how to beat this freak, but she would do it somehow. Mai looked up at the women and growled, the red chakra had began to ooze out and quickly formed the first chakra tail.
"I`ll Kill you!!" she roared, a second tail split off from the base of the first. Mai had to get the women out of the circle. All she could hope was that Hojo would quickly get himself and Daisuke out of that cave.
Mai charged at her, the speed was at least ten times faster than her normal speed. She swung a hand at her, hoping to use the force to swat her out of the circle.

While Hojo doubted there would be much he or anyone else could do for Daisuke, he knew he needed to get them out of there. Even if he couldn't be saved, at least he would be given a decent burial. But from the killer look Mai had, this cave wouldn't be lasting too long. He gave her a nod, and carefully lifted Daisuke onto his back, the Uchiha's arms around his neck. With that Hojo was off, and he wished the Uchiha good luck.
The woman, meanwhile, would have been laughing at her victory if she hadn't seen the tails grow on Mai's body, and the red chakra. There was only one thing she knew that had that; the Nine-Tailed Fox. She stepped out of the circle, since it was useless, and used the blood to form the base of two blood clones to defend herself. They were quickly dispatched, but bought her time to get away.
"So, you're the girl who contains the Nine Tailed Fox, and from the looks of things, you are taking great advantage of its killer instincts. I can see you want to kill me, don't you? You relish the thought, you're going to enjoy trying to do it aren't you? If thats the case, then I believe you'll be a better Jashinist then I am. But, he would feel betrayed if I just gave up, so we'll fight this battle all the way, till one of us dies."

By this time Mai`s eyes had totally lost their normal look, both of her eyes were flooded with red, the outlines of her eyes were thick black lines. Her fangs grew larger as she slowly looked up at the women and bared her teeth. Mai`s whole body ached with the pain of knowing Daisuke was probably dead right then.
She beat through the blood clones as if they were nothing, the chakra all around her was so intense that it was like millions of little bees stinging all at once. A third chakra tail erupted, Mai let out a hideous roar. A shock wave filled the cave, and crushed the ground under her. She charged at her again, this time she was ready to rip her head off. Mai planned on ripping her apart then smashing the cave, so the women would never be able to escape.
Mai was hardly herself anymore, she still had a little control over her body but for the most part the fox used her like a puppet. She walked down a long hallway until she came to a familiar room with a gate on the other side. Mai saw the pair of large blood shot eyes, the chakra began to ooze from the gates. "Come. Come closer little Uchiha."

The woman was able to get away, but not before getting a massive slash on her legs. Of course, she enjoyed the pain, but it wasn't as if she wanted it in the middle of a fight like this. It would severely hinder her movement, but at least the pure amount of it would allow her access to her most powerful technique
OOC: Sorry for the interuption, but just letting you know that this next technique was one I wanted to create, but didn't get the chance to. So consider it a preview XD.
The woman took the blood that was gushin from her leg to create a Jashin symbol, but this time it was different. It was inside a square, and in the center there were two triangles. This was a special technique that allowed one to summon the power of Jashin himself. It was probably her only chance to take down this monster of a girl.
"Prepare Nine-Tails, to face the ultimate power of Jashin." She then sat in the center of the symbol, which soon glowed with a blood-red aura of chakra. Soon, a gate appeared, and a low growl erupted from it. Soon, a large being came out. It looked like a dog of some sort, but it was skeletal, with a blackish aura around it that made it look like it had a body of sorts. It might have been some kind of chakra.
"Prepare to face the servant of Jashin: Cerebus, The Prophet of Death."
((The technique only occurs for 5 posts of hers, and if she fails to kill Mai, she dies instead. And she can't move out of that circle. But come on, Cerebus vs. Nine-Tailed will be awesome XD)).

(Ooh this is sure to be fun. Might even get to see a little glimpse of the 4th tail xD )
Mai growled right in response to the large dog beast. It didnt intimidate her the slightest bit, in fact it was just something that would give her a bit of training. But she still couldnt escape the dread and pain that filled her heart. Mai wasnt going to let this women live, she didnt care if she got into trouble for murder, she had killed Daisuke so the women had to die.
The chakra began to spiral up above her as she prepared for her next attack. Mai bared her teeth.
"Jashin doesnt exist, and I`ll crush you to prove that!" The chakra began to spiral around her body, the lightning began to erupt from her body. Rather than the lightning forming a dragon head, it turned into the head of the fox. The chakra of the fox controlled the vortex and it began to lash out on the women`s ultimate jutsu.

The woman stayed concentrated on channeling the flow of chakra needed to keep the seal activated, letting Cerebus take care of the issue of defending herself. The dog, meanwhile, sucked in a massive breath of air, and then released in in a massive blast of wind that destroyed the lightning as wind beats lightning in the rock-paper-scissors like game of the elemental chakra.
"Jashin exists, and you will soon get the chance to meet him Nine-Tails. But don't worry, considering how many people you've killed, he will welcome you with open arms." The woman replied before changing handseals.
The dog responded by opening his mouth, which began to charge up a large ball of blackened chakra before shooting it at the ceiling above Mai, hoping to simply crush her under the weight of the cave. As he did so, the chakra surrounding his skeletal form disappeared for a moment, but soon returned to it's normal state.

This battle was starting to get ridiculous. Did this women actually think a dog could defeat the most powerful creature on the planet? But when she saw the beast shook some kind of chakra ball at the ceiling, Mai just roared in response. And when the rocks began to fall, a chakra shield protected her, but all of the falling rock gave her enough time to hide for a moment and let her think that the Uchiha was dead. After a few minutes of silence had passed, the chakra around her arm snaked through the ground and shot up to strike the women.
Mai inched closer and closer to the gates, her eyes were fixed on that one spot. More power seemed like the only answer, but she had heard if she went one tail beyond three... she would lose control. Then nobody could stop her, and she might destroy and kill innocent people and various other things. For the moment she stopped, the foxes claws were just out of reach.

The woman really doubted the Uchiha, using the Fox's chakra, would be able to go down as easy as it seemed. She kept the chakra running through the seal, and wasn't surprised to see chakra run out of the ground and strike at her. Cerebus's back paw moved back to protect her, and it barked a bit in pain as he was hit. He got over it, however, and soon went back to focus on Mai.
"Now then Cerebus, let's finish this girl off and make Jashin proud."
The dog's blackened chakra struck out from behind, forming a long tail. With a quick spin, he lashed out at the last spot he had seen the Uchiha girl. Normally he would have just sniffed her out, but with all the dust and dirt flying in the air, it wasn't possible.

Outside of the cave, Hojo was carrying Daisuke out. He hoped the Uchiha was alive still, even a little. If they could make it to Konoha, they could probably heal him.
"So, what was that comment earlier about women being weak-minded, hm?" Hojo spoke out, trying to add a small bit of humor into the situation. It was the only way he knew how to deal with stress, other than training. And right now, using Daisuke as a training weight was probably not the best idea, so he had to use humor.

Mai`s target was no longer the cerebus, but the women who was controlling it. The demon foxe`s chakra made her remember who her real target was. If she wanted to beat the puppet, she had to beat the puppet master and thats just what she planned to do. Mai launched herself at the women again. She moved so quickly, that she practically hovered over the ground. The Uchiha zoomed right under the cerebus and pulled back a hand into a fist. The damage from a dynamic punch at that speed and power would be tremendous, and once she had the women pinned like a rat she was going to rip her apart.

"I-I... shhhhould have... been... more specific..." Daisuke wheezed, it was starting to get too hard to breath. His whole body was numb, he was like a dead weight now. It was a surprise that he was even still alive after such a fatal wound... perhaps the women was off by a little bit?
He would have loved to have given his sister some kind of long and heroic speech before they departed, but that probably would have caused both of them more pain. Tears streamed from his eyes, Daisuke didnt want it to end that way. Hopefully the medical ninja could save him... he wasnt ready to say goodbye just yet... "Live... a life... worth.... remembering... M-Mmai told me that.. once... b-but.. I-I never knew what ... it meant... until... until n-now."

Cerebus's tail swung downward to block Mai, and found itself being torn to shreds, and it didn't look as if it would be coming back anytime soon. He quickly turned around, and grabbed ahold of Mai's chakra tails with its own chakra jaws, and began to pull on her to stop her. Marks appeared on the floor as he dug his paws into the ground, and one could tell he was struggling. The woman knew she was beat, but wouldn't let Mai be the one to finish her. She was going to hold out long enough for Jashin to finish her himself, as that was the cost for failing to kill with the technique in the time limit. Still, she had some spare time, and decided to mess with the girl a little.
"Nine Tailed container, please, tell what is the difference between us? I kill for pleasure, glory, and revenge. I enjoy the thrill of the kill and battle. You, well, you're the same way. I can see in your eyes you want to kill me to avenge your brother, and I know that you are going to enjoy doing so. We fly under different banners Nine Tails, but deep down, we are the same. We can kill without a second thought about it, and enjoy every moment."

"Daisuke, not to be rude, but now would be a good time to shut up. I'm surprised to hear me say this, but I want no effort from you what so ever. You need to save that energy for getting back to the village." Hojo replied.
The Uchiha was talking, which was a good sign. The attack wasn't instantly fatal, but from the looks of it, the woman probably stabbed herself pretty d**n close to the heart. He might make it to the village, but anything past that was a gamble. Then again, Hojo never did let the odds stop him when it came to something important.

Seeing that she was going to be able to get through to the women Mai knew she would just have to keep attacking the cerebus. She pulled back her fist again and threw it at the cerebus one last time before giving up on the dynamic punch. When she heard the words of the women she just laughed. Mai swooped under the cerebus and went right for her, not to kill her just to pin her up against the wall for the moment.
"Unlike you I`m an avenger, you kill for a stupid god you made up in your mind. Me? Well I`ve been passed on the will of fire from Naruto, and if I let you get in my way now I`ll fail everybody. Besides I`ve got Uchiha blood in my veins, and your right I will enjoy your death but I dont kill for fun. As a matter of fact, your my first kill."

The woman knew she was going to die, so she really didn't care when Mai put her up against the wall. Cerebus didn't disappear, and she knew her time was up. Within moments Cerebus would drag her into his realm, the realm of Jashin. That was her cost for not killing this girl in time.
"Please, it's not your first time. As the container of the Nine Tails, you already contain a beast that has killed hundreds of people, your village included. So as a Uchiha, you may have this as your first kill, but as the Nine Tailed Fox, it's just another one. Combined, you're about to begin a long, fruitful career of killing people. Every time you tap into that power, you'll enjoy it more and more until one day you will be no different from me."
The girl looked behind Mai, and saw Cerebus began to sink into the ground. The blackened chakra began to shoot at her, and grabbed her by the ankles. Even with Mai's powerful grasp, she was able to be pulled by it. A small hole began to open up underneath Cerebus, outlined by Jashin's symbol.
"Well, it looks like your not going to get the chance to off me. Looks like Jashin has decided to do it himself. It's the cost for not killing you Nine Tailed."

The angry glow faded from her eyes as she released her grip on the women, she didnt kill her which had been her goal. The blood on her hands and the rush of cold blood through her veins suggested that she had done something terrible, but Mai had hardly put a scratch on the women. Mostly everything that had happened was her own doing.
"I didnt kill you, you killed yourself for believing in this jashin crap." Mai didnt stay and watch, she was eager to see how her brother was if he was still alive. She quickly turned and bolted out of the cave, the chakra tails and shield around her disappeared back into her body.

Most of the cultist had heard the major fight that had been going on in the sanctuary, and had high tailed it out of there. The few that stayed behind ran after hearing Cerebus's summon, knowing full well that if he was brought out, something big was going on. So by the time that Mai had finally gotten out of the cave, it was rather deserted. It didn't help the situation much that, due to the fight, the cave had become rather unstable, and soon began to collapse on itself.
"I hope that cave doesn't take the mountain out with it. A collapse that big could possibly destroy the entire Hokage monument." Hojo commented with concern as he heard the collapsing cave. He still had Daisuke on his back, but he wasn't one hundred percent sure if he would survive. The woman had missed the heart, but had hit close enough that if they weren't quick, he would probably die.
"I also hope Mai got out of there alive. Even the Nine Tails can't protect her from getting crushed by all that." Hojo added in, even if he knew it would worry Daisuke. This mission had not gone the way he had hoped, but they were rather unprepared for an actual working immortality jutsu like the one the woman had. Intel apparently dropped the ball on that one.

Mai raced out of the cave and away from the falling rocks that nearly crushed her. Luckily she was still pretty alert so she could avoid most of the larger rocks. She felt a smaller rock hit her on the head and Mai tripped and stumbled out of the cave. The Uchiha lay, sprawled out in front of the collapsing cave, in a daze. Quite frankly she was surprised she had made it out in time. But when she remembered Daisuke she quickly got to her feet, and nearly staggered over, and darted off to go find them.
By this time, Daisuke had stopped responding period. He could hear Hojo`s faint voice, seemingly off in the distance, and strained to still listen. But everything else was blank, he couldnt feel nor see anything.
Eventually Mai caught up with them, but she could hardly look at either of them especially Daisuke.
"I-Is... he okay?" Mai sounded choked up. Her vision blurred again as tears swelled up in her eyes again.
(i think that in order for the plot to go as planned that he should die >.> They could save him, then he could suddenly die right in front of them. To give them some kind of false hope xD )
