Avani put her hands out to her sides, brought her hands up higher. Water particles from the air formed from the air, she spun her hands around the two of them, creating a thick ice dome around them, that would hold up for at least a few minutes. Inside of the dome, she was crouched down, she put a hand on his shoulder
"Garun, i`ll stay here and fight. I can keep up with him. You run back to the camp and get help okay?"

"No way" Garun said to her. "Listen Avani you are the avatar who is meant to save us all from the war and you can do tyhat if you are dead. Now get going. If you can get a message to Zhang and Ishimaru then that would be great but apart from that I want you to run." Garun said before collecting water from the air himself. He then started forming spikes of ice the size of splinters but were harp as a knife. "I will use my bending to attack him with these. He should attack back which will give you a moment of opportunity to run" He said to Avani. He then stood up before turning to look at her. "Please Avani I care for you too much to see you get hurt by some brute. Just for once listen to me and run" He said to her before darting out of the dome of ice. "hey you taste some icicles" He shouted before with one hand throwing some of the ice needles at him. Then using his other hand he directed some others to go round and behind him

"Okay, but dont get hurt got it?"Avani told him, she got close to him ad gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. She took off heading back to the camp. Of course she felt horrible for retreating and leaving him behind.
Yasuo looked up from his place on the saddle.
"Zhang! Ishimaru!"Avani yelled, Yasuo leapt off and ran to her side, "Some fire bender attacked us, and I only had a second to get out and get help! We have to go back and help Garun!"
Zhang slid off of Suppo and took off. Avani followed without waiting for Ishimaru, but she did look back at him hoping he would help out.

Derano just simply rolled his eyes as the waterbender boy sent needles of ice towards him. With a quick turn of movements he created a small shield of flames that proceeded to melt them. With that threat averted he watched as the girl ran off, probably to go and get back up. He wasn't really that worried; most likely they would be travelling with friends, and at their age they were rarely ever experts at their elements. However, in case something did go wrong he made sure that there was always an opening behind him for escape.

When Ishimaru heard the news about a firebender attacking he quickly sprinted in the direction that Avani had come from. It was his job to protect the Avatar and get her to the Air Temple safely, and he was going to do it.
"So then, is there anything you can tell us about this firebender that could assist us in defeating him?"

"All I know is that he is quite a bit older than any of us, it might be best to grab Garun and run for it for now."Avani told him. Zhang slid in next to Garun, he took his own fighting stance and was ready for anything. The man seemed ... vaguely like someone he saw back in the fire nation. But he probably wasnt important. His own father was a captain who died in battle, perhaps thats where he saw this man? Then again a lot of fire nation people looked similar.

Garun used more water from the air and then did a quick spin to drain some from flowers nearby. "About time you showed up. Did your old man bones keep you from getting here sooner" Garun said to Zhang jokingly. Garun now had a good sized water ball. With a breath he froze it before shooting into the air above the enemy. "Zhang honestly we dont stand much against this lunatic so when I attack it should stop him from attacking us because it will be a lot of needles spread out around him and over him. It wont last long but in that time I want you to get Avani and Ishimaru and get out of here. I will be behind you when I have time" He said quickly with a stare to Zhang as if to say dont bother arguing. "Take this you filthy beast" Garun said before spreading his hands and then quickly bringing them down which caused the ball of ice above the man to burst open and shower the guy in needles of ice.

"I Thought you would argue" Garun said before using more water from the air to make a icicle. He then launched this at th enemy. "How about we both run and just block his attacks when he thros them" Garun said to Zhang while looking to see if Avani and Ishimaru had caught up.

"Once they get here we run, got it. No more talking about it."Zhang stated, he was surprised the man hadnt attacked again. His golden eyes saw Avani.
'They`re close enough, come on lets go."Zhang motioned to Garun to follow as he took off.

Does this waterbender not realize that ice is not effective against me? Fire melts ice, its simple logic. He'd have more success using water alone if he wanted to stand a chance. Then again, better for me that he is so naive.
It wasn't to hard to stop the raining needles of ice; a quick movement of fire and they were melted without a problem. The larger icicle was a bit harder to take care of, and so he simply just used his fire to melt it partially while dodging the rest of it.
With that danger cleared he focused his attention once again on his targets. By now there was a fire-bender, two waterbenders, and surprisingly enough an airbender as Ishimaru had by now caught up with the rest of the group.
"My my, what a rare treat. I haven't had the pleasure in meeting one in combat since all but one was wiped out over two hundred years ago. You sure did revive very quickly though."
Ishimaru was originally going to just provide some defensive help, but when he heard that statement one could see he was a bit ticked. His fist was curled up, and he was looking at the man with a very stern look. However, he knew he had to remain calm; going into a rage (even if justified) would not help the situation. Pulling out his staff, he had himself ready to fight.
"Garun, Zhang, are you going to require some assistance in defeating this guy?"

Zhang paused.
"Are we going to take care of this little pest problem right now?"He asked, "Well the more the better I suppose."
Yasuo stood next to Avani and let out a loud hiss. Avani was quite surprised to see that Garun could use the air to get water, only masters where particularly skilled at this. When she heard Ishimaru and Zhang talk, she glanced back at him. She felt as if she too had to fight, because she was the avatar. But she really didnt want to.

"Fine me and you two will fight this guy while Avani gets away" Garun said to Zhang and Ishimaru. "But this guy is tough so once avani is out of the way we get away ourselves" Garun said before giving a twirl and unleashing a whip of water.

"Ah, so the waterbender finally learned that ice won't be of any use." The firebender said as he noticed the whip of water. He was partially tempted to use one technique he knew that would have probably fried the guy in one hit, but he decided to hold off on it. He needed to see how good these people were. And so with some quick motions he sent a small wall of flames towards their feet.

"I believe I can agree to that plan. The most I can do is provide assistance though. Air has been known to actually make fires worse."
When the small wall of flame started heading towards them Ishimaru launched himself into the air, hoping that the small burst of air would kick up enough dirt to smother the flames a little bit.

Avani brought her hands up causing some water to stop in the air. She dropped her hands just letting the water fall over the flames and the rest of the group. The avatar knew it would put out a little bit of the flames. Zhang knew his flames could only make this worse than it already was. So he just stayed out of the way.

Garun did a flip over the wave while using another water whip to put out the rest that the others hadnt. When he landed he used another water whip but instead of directly ttacking he waved it in an arch which caused it to shoot out little drops of water at quite high velocity. He then spun causing the rest of the whip to fly at the enemy.
