"You... shouldnt..."she said softly, she glanced up at him and a determined look was all over her face, "I`ll take him out next time I see him. And i`ll get the traitor back."
She crossed her arms and looked at him, almost as if nothing had happened. Her father still glared at Garun, but smiled at his daughter.
"You will not be fighting him again I assure you."He told her.
"Why not? He attacked me, i`ll get my revenge!"
She said the word that got her grandfather into so much trouble, it scared Daisuke. He didnt want her to get all hellbent on getting her revenge.

Seeing the tender family and friend moment before him the medical ninja had made his way out of the room. As he waited for any updates on the investigation or Mai he laid against the wall. Eventually a ninja appeared, handing him a sheet of paper.
"It's our preliminary report about the attack. We thought you might need to take a look, and see if Mai knows anything." The ninja left as the medical ninja entered the room.
"Well, I got a preliminary report right here. A witness or two mentioned two people in dark robes with red blotches on them, and that one of them used a genjutsu. Add in the girl being taken and it seems that everything Mai said is true. Not that I'm calling her a liar or anything. It just had to be confirmed since she was under the influence of genjutsu. The council isn't going to like this at all. Kazuma Ishimaru, the head of the Akatsuki, broke into the village and no one was the wiser. And then attacking Mai to top it off. Whatever he is planning, it isn't going to be good."

Daisuke growled as he went to stand next to his daughter. It wasnt what he wanted to hear at all. His young daughter was attacked by one of the strongest ninja in the world.
"Next time he decides to drop by I`ll make sure he burns."He hissed, "If he tried to mess with my daughter again he`ll be sorry."

"I give you my word that I will make sure he will be sorry if he ever enters this village again" Garun said to Daisuke. He then turned to Mai. "Mai you concentrate on just getting better. I will deal with Ishimaru" Garun said to her

Mai checked herself over, she didnt feel dead. She felt quite a bit better from an hour or two ago.
"You work on your medical jutsu, and I`ll take care of Ishimaru. Hes my problem, not yours."she replied.

"Whats your problem is my problem" Garun said to Mai. "Now Mai once you get out of here I will be by your side constantly and if anything hurts then I will try and fx it. And I will also mae sure you dont try and get revenge without me" Garun said to her before pattig her on the shoulder.

"My problems are nobodies problems but mine, okay?"she said rather loudly. Daisuke sent a glare at Garun. Hiroshi opened the door and headed in with a few bowls of ramen.
"So I told the old man what happened and he let me take a couple of the bowls, gotta take em back though."he told them with a smile, passing out the ramen.

"No its not ok. If Ishimaru wanted you dead then you would be which means he has something planned and I will not let him use you. So whether your happy with it or not I am going to be by your side all the time." Garun said to her as loud as she did. Garun then sat down and began eating his bowl of ramen

Hiroshi handed out the last bowl of ramen and flagged Garun out in the hallway. He could see they needed to chat.

Garun put his bowl down and walked out into the corridor. "What is it Hiroshi" Garun asked him. Garun had an idea what this was gonna be about

Hiroshi closed the door then crossed his arms.
"It`ll be a very long time before you change her mind."He started off, "Its better to have your plans, but keep them in your head so you dont stress her out or what ever. Just set your plan in motion, but keep it in your head. Its as easy as that."
He paused for a moment, wondering how he should word the next part. He decided to just wing it.
"Mai is my responsibility, she is the reason Im here. I`ve deticated my life to protecting her and being her friend."he continued on, "Of course you may hang out with her, but if there was some sort of attack we would want somebody who could really protect her right? You see what Im saying right?"

"I can protect her. If you didnt notice Im the one who can use healing jutsu. Together we can keep her safe. Im not going to let you keep her all to your self. Even if you werewith her you wouldnt of been able to help. Ishimaru would of killed you in an instant. If it was me with her then it would of been the same. Though togetherwe could of done something" Garun said to Hiroshi

"I was told to protect her by both of her parents. I dont think Daisuke would want somebody he doesnt know well protecting his daughter."He told him, "Besides your a genin, you`ve got a long way to go before you can earn anybodies respect. I heard what you did on the mission, pretty much nothing. I cant risk that with her."

"The reason I didnt do anything in the mission is because I was protecting Akane. the mision was to protect her. Mai and Hojo were the ones jumping into combat. A smart ninja knows to keep the one they are meant to be keeping safe away from the combat. And anyway it wasnt my friend that wanted to capture Mai was it." Garun said to Hiroshi.

"Oh so your saying Mai was stupid to jump into the fight and protect you?"Hiroshi asked, but keeping his rather calm voice, "If she wasnt there you would probably be dead. End of conversation."
The cloud ninja went back in the room and headed to his bowl of ramen.
