After returing to the Leaf Village after the mission, Akane had started looking for a place to stay. She was determined to make a life for herself here in the Leaf Village, but as she sat on a bench to take a rest she was starting to have second thoughts. Mai had a Tailed-Beast, and their former Hokage had one too. And from what she could tell even they had some troubles when dealing with people because of it. Adding the fact that she was an outsider to this village would make her even more suspicious.
Then again, this place did have a history of dealing with Tailed Beast containers, and it always turned out good in the long run. The Hokage had, well become a Kage, and Mai seemed to be doing well. Maybe their was a glimmer of hope she could forge a life here. Still, the doubt was eating at her mind, and she collapsed her head into her hands as she tried to sort out her thoughts.

"So then, that is the girl who escaped from the Mist Village? Yokoyama Akane, container of the 8-Tailed Beast. Not a very impressive sight, but I think there can be some potential."
Lurking in the shadows of the alleyway stood a man dressed in a black cloak with red clouds on it. He was doing a good job of hiding himself from sight, which wasn't surprising for Ishimaru considering his position.
He had heard rumors of this girl from his sources, and had decided to investigate. Upon concluding his findings he had tracked her down to the Leaf Village, and ironic twist of major proportions. This meant he had to be careful about what he did, but the chance to obtain such a prize such as a Tailed-Beast container was worth the risk. All he had to do was wait up for his backup before making his move.

Yamata was only a foot or two behind him when he began to speak. He too wore the black cloak with red clouds. He grinned, this shouldnt be too hard. The younger of the two crossed his arms and looked her over. For some reason he wore a mask, it was almost cat like. Black, red, and white designs.
"It`ll be nice to have another member in the group. Unless it comes down to killing her, then it would lose the fun right?"he chuckled.

Mai Uchiha wasnt very far away, she had just gotten back from a cheerful time with Garun. Though she wouldnt call it a date. Right now she was on a mission of her own, find something to eat.

Ishimaru looked back when he heard Yamata speaking. Turning his attention back to Akane he started speaking.
"Don't get to used to it. If everything goes right then she won't be around for to long. And if things don't go right, the same thing will happen. Besides, I would think killing her would be something fun for you."
The sounds of foot steps caught his attention, and he glimpsed over to sight Mai. Ishimaru remained emotionless, but there was a bit of a twinkle on his eye that showed something was up.
"So, the successor to Naruto is here as well. Interesting to say the least, though I'm not to concerned about her at this time."

Akane looked up to notice that Mai was heading in her direction, and in doing so straightened herself out of the slump she was a moment earlier.
"Oh, hello there Mai. I didn't except to see you again so soon. Is everything doing well?" She said in her usual, quiet demeanor.

Yamata nodded, then smiled showing his pointed teeth.
"Yeah, I`ve always wanted to take on a tailed beast." He wasnt very concerned about Mai either, if they could take her out before the kyuubi surfaced they would be fine.

"Yeah, everythings great!"Mai replied cheerfully, she sat down next to Akane. She looked up at the sky and watched the clouds roll by. "Did you find a place to stay yet?"

"Oh, well, not yet. But I heard there was a very good hotel nearby that was supposed to be good, and I was going to check the place out after a quick rest." Akane sat there, though she started fidgeting a little bit. She felt as if there was something or someone watching her.
"Hey, Mai, do you get the feeling we are being watched?"

"Don't be too eager to take on a Tailed Beast. They can be very deadly to fight, such as Naruto Uzumaki. If I hadn't gotten to him in one hit and cut off that chakra flow then things would have gotten much worse. Then again, with them being kids it shouldn't be a major issue at this point."
Ishimaru heard the comment Akane made about being watched, and decided now would be the time to make his move. Stepping out of the shadows, he made a slight bow as he spoke.
"I am sorry to have worried you and in fact mean no harm. My name is Kazuma Ishimaru, and I had wanted to speak to you for a moment." He looked up with his eyes, wanting to see the reaction of the two genin before him.
Akane, who was out of the loop on the information regarding Naruto's death, was in no way familiar with the name. Instead she was confused about the man, though she felt that he almost oozed with the aura of trouble.

Yamata appeared besides Ishimaru, arms still crossed. He grinned at Mai, she saw him earlier overlooking the village. Mai glared, she had heard of this Ishimaru guy. She leapt to her feet and pointed a finger right in his face.
"You killed the hokage!"She yelled, "Run Akane! They`ll kill you! I`ll hold em off!"
"We arent going to attack unless we have to, so shut it kyuubi."Yamata told her casually, "We just want to talk with her."

"Killed the Hokage?" Akane said confused. Looking at the man she could tell he probably had the will to do it, but could someone really kill Naruto without it being a massive battle? Then again, it did happen that way. And now they were willing to walk right into the middle of the village they caused so much grief too without even as much as flinching?
As for Mai's wanting her to run, Akane wasn't going to abandon her like that with people like these two. She couldn't fight well, but she had some fight in her.
"No Mai, I'm staying right here with you."
Ishimaru had gotten out of his bow, and if it wasn't for his skill in keeping a straight face he would have rolled his eyes at that comment. Instead he kept a relatively emotionless face as he talked.
"Now Mai, no need to fret. We have no interest in killing you or your friend here. As my companion said we just wanted to talk. You see, I heard about your friend and her plight and thought we could help her with her Tailed Beast. As you probably know the Akatsuki are quite skilled and knowledgeable about them."
While Akane knew next to little about Ishimaru she had heard about the Akatsuki, and she knew what he said was true. However, that was because they killed the last set of people to harness their tailed beasts as a tool for world domination.
"No, I'm not going to fall for that. I know you'll kill me and take my tailed beast."
Ishimaru just smirked before continuing.
"My dear, that is not the case at all. We want to help you harness the tailed beast's power and turn it into a force capable of making you one of the greatest ninjas of all time."

Mai growled and her hands balled into fists. She would have loved to have clobbered them, but she knew she couldnt. She would die the same way Naruto did, at the hands of the Akatsuki.
Yamata didnt have much to say, he just stood there and listened to them.
"She can become a great ninja on her own! She doesnt need your help."

"Everyone needs help to succeed Mai. Hard work alone is never enough; there will always be someone helping. Even I needed help to become what I am. But that is beside the point. The thing is Mai that the Leaf Village won't be accepting Akane here anytime soon. They barely accept you; a native born member of the Village, a member of the Uchiha clan, and handpicked by Naruto himself to succeed him as the keeper of the Nine Tailed Fox. Do you really expect them to accept Akane, a girl who appears out of nowhere and claims to have one?"
Akane just sat back and listened as the two spoke. Both of them were making some points, but she was a bit scared at how close this Ishimaru person was saying the same things Akane had thought.
"And since the Leaf Village will not be accepting her with that Tailed Beast in her, she will grow up wasting that talent and skill she has the potential for. We just wish to help her unlock her full potential, and that is all."

"They dont know anything about Akane, so for all they know shes just a normal girl like everybody else."Mai stated, "Theres always a person in the village who will accept us for who we are. My friends accept me for who I am, not because of the demon that almost took out the village a long time ago. Hiroshi was there when Naruto was dying and I was selected by him to contain it."
Yamata glanced up when she said Hiroshi he grinned.
"Ah, Hiroshi is here too? He did mention living here watching after a girl, but I never thought it was you..."

"Yes, they don't know she has a Tailed Beast in her do they? However, that is the sort of information that tends to get out pretty quickly. As I mentioned you do have some advantages over Akane with an already established reputation in the village, but she is a nobody here. Besides, she is wanted by the Mist Village. I believe that won't fare to well in the people's eyes either. And the way I hear they would be willing to start a war of sorts to get her back. I'm sure she doesn't want that on her head."
As the arguing continued back and forth between Ishimaru and Mai, Akane was getting even more confused about what to do. On the one hand every Ishimaru said made sense if you thought about it, but if he was a member of the Akatsuki could he be trusted? Mai she had known for only two days though, and using herself as an example wasn't really good since her situation was completely different than Akane's own situation. Still, Mai did raise a good point; the Leaf Village had accepted one Tailed Beast, why couldn't they accept another?

Mai didnt have anything to say, but she was curious to know how Yamata knew Hiroshi. She was just angry.
"Well Akane its your choice you can stay here and live a happy life in the leaf village. Or you can take this jerks deal and get some stupid fake power."She hissed, "Thats what my grandfather did... and look what happened to him. The village hated him for it. The Uchiha clan has suffered for his mistake, and you`ll suffer just as much for yours."
"Very heart breaking story there kyuubi."Chuckled Yamata, "Nobody cares."

Ishimaru had to smirk at the words "fake power".
"I believe you are talking about the Cursed Seals Orochimaru used on his minons, correct? Well, I can honestly say that I will not be using those on anyone anytime soon. My focus is to instead simply instruct Akane in how to channel the energy of the Tailed Beast in order to use jutsu instead of having it come out in bursts. Thats something you can't quite offer now can you? The only person the Leaf Village had who knew that sort of thing was Naruto, and he is gone. You can't help with that either; you are a simle genin who has just been given a power she can't handle fully."

Yamata chuckled a rather evil sounding laugh, "Shes got you beat there, you are an old coot."

"And so were the Hokages before Naruto; Sarutobi and Tsunade. Both of them were quite old but could easily defeat almost any ninja alive. Almost being the key word since Sarutobi was killed by Orochimaru, who was old as well. To put it simple Mai I could easily kill you if I wanted to. I just choose not to right now."
Seeing as the attention had been taken off of her, Akane used the time to think. Since she didn't know either side very well trust wasn't that much of a factor, though it did lean in Mai's favor. Then again, she had spent her entire life living in fear and shame for being a container of the Eight-Tailed Beast, and these two were offering her a chance to be someone because of it. Plus, if what they said about the Mist Village was true, she could put the entire Leaf Village in danger if she stayed around. Besides, her life would probably be a nightmare once news of her situation broke out. While Mai would be there to support her, Akane didn't feel it would be enough to counter the rest of the village fearing and hating her.
"I'm going with them" Akane whispered, looking at the ground in what looked like shame. Ishimaru's eyes darted over to her, and he asked her to speak up.
"I'm going with them Mai. I think it's for the best."
